About
Situated amidst the beautiful Pocono Mountains, Mt. Airy Golf Club sprawls across lush rolling hills covered with lakes and ponds. There are also wandering streams that cut across the course. This demanding layout requires accuracy over distance with tree-lined fairways and a wildly undulating terrain. Golfers will be faced with tricky uneven lies as well as several blind shots. Water hazards also come into play on several holes. The golf course is challenging but high handicappers should not be too discouraged since it can also be quite forgiving, especially on the fairways, which offer some room for error. Mt. Airy is a demanding course, but the interesting hole designs are fun to play and the beautiful setting will make the round worth it even if your score is less than perfect.

Disappointed
For the price we paid, this course was a disappointment. As first-time players, we expected the scorecard to provide basic information about the layout, including the locations of water hazards and sand traps, but it offered very little guidance. Better course information would have made for a much more enjoyable experience.
The pace of play was extremely slow because the course was backed up, and there didn't appear to be much effort to keep things moving. The staff mentioned it to us after our round, by simply laughing it off with an "oh well" attitude, which was disappointing and unprofessional.
To top it off, the prices at the clubhouse were outrageous. Charging $48 for a six-pack of beer is excessive by any standard.
Overall, the course has potential, but between the high prices, poor pace of play, lack of helpful course information, and the dismissive customer service, it did not provide the value we expected. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
A beautiful course
Even though Mother Nature cut our round short. This course was beautiful and so much fun to play! Staff were incredibly friendly. Will be returning for sure.
Just an overall great experience.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The course was in great shape. 2nd time playing there, starter said, “ that should save you about 6 strokes.” I saved 7 and was 4” from a hole in one on 12. Challenging but fair. We will be coming back again.
Our round
My son and Iplayed it, great day I loved it. Course knowledge very important on som holes. My son did not like not being able to hit driver. On demerit - no range
Fantastic
My 2nd ranked course. TPC SAWGRASS is first. Better than Medinah 3, Pebble, broadmoor, oak Hill east. Just wonderful. Haven't played it in 20 years. It didn't disappoint
Hard course but very nice conditions. Hilly and windy.
Great Day Playing
Course in decent to great shape, greens ran true, pace was quick, great rate
Course is Beautiful with Great Views
Second time golfing on this course. It still gave me the same thrilling and astonishing feeling of when I first laid eyes on the course. The only downside for today was the pace of play. Really slow as we heard there was a few groups ahead from a bachelor party slowing it down.
Otherwise, it was a great round of golf.
