Too many people out there and no respect for the golf course
Very crowded for 5pm. Lots of younger folks with some groups of 5-6 people. Lots of folks driving golf carts all over par 3s and driving all near the greens. The greens were a mess no one fixes their divots. Disappointing. I will not be playing there on Friday afternoons again.
Enjoyable play
Glad I played with two other guys who knew the course. They told me where to aim teeing off on several holes that I had no idea where the green was. It's quite 'hilly'. Some nice scenery.
Good value round
So i got a really good deal through being a N ember of Golf Now . I have played this course for over 20 years and used to play at least once a week or twice when I lived just down I am confused by the All mud No sand Bunkers throughout the course ? I and I believe most other golfers would appreciate nice kept sand filled bunkers .
Fun, quirky, and maybe a bit pricey
Played a Monday foursome on a very in crowded course. Pace of play was excellent, and all of us noted the greens as being reallly “true”. Higher handicappers like me will pay the price for missing fairways. Five “three off the tee” events for this 22 handicapper. If your driving radius includes both Berks and Montco courses, you’ll probably agree that $62 is a bit steep for a weekday round at a public course. NOTE WELL: The clubhouse grille is closed on Mondays.
Early morning golf
Went on 5-18 at 630 am. Solid course, many peaks and valleys. Course was in solid condition, would play again
Great laid back day
This course was so lovely. It was Mother’s Day so probably emptier than usual, but there was no one else scheduled for my tee time so they let me go out myself. It was absolutely glorious. Pro shop is well stocked and pace of play was great. I finished 18 in a little over 3 hours playing alone. I did skip one hole because after the turn I got caught up behind a lovely family foursome. They did offer to let me play the hole and they would wait but I hate an audience. Will definitely return!
Bright and early
Grabbed a 6:40am the night before. Me and my partner played in just over 3 hours. Everything very nice. A little left over sand from aeration, but the greens were rather quick. Play’s about 350 yards shorter than posted. Nice elevation changes. Back to back par 3s then par 5s is something I’ve never seen before. Fun track. I recommend playing.
Play 9 holes twice
Not sure if GN informed me or knew that their back 9 was being worked on .
Best bang for your golf bucks in PA
Good conditions great price with cart. Friendly staff.
