Kimberton Golf Club

About
Kimberton Golf Club, which opened in 1962, has stood the test of time. Well known golf course designer George Fazio created a nice mix of holes about 45 minutes northwest of Philadelphia. The golf course isn't overly long and doesn't feature a lot of trouble, but it's long on fun. The signature par-4 third, a dogleg right around woods, is a pretty hole and worth the trip. Kimberton Golf Club is a just good old-fashioned, Philadelphia-style golf course.

Great course!
One of the best courses I’ve been to this summer. Great tee boxes and open layout. You will not lose many balls here. The fareways are well kept too.
Great course
Very nice course. Well kept and managed. Overall it was worth the money your spending
Good place to come back too
Good Place to come back to. Staff is fantastic they always have some cold water stored on the course. They were doing some work on some Tee boxes and fairways so had to manage that. The course was fairly busy and this impacted the pace of play which delayed us by 20-30 minutes
Good course
First time play
Good course to practice and not too crowded
Needs grass
The greens were fast and in great shape. The fairways suffered from too much rain this year and lack a lot of grass. The tee boxes were totally lacking grass. The greens saved the course from a one star conditions rating. There are signs that they are working on improving their conditions.
Course conditions hurt the value rating.
People were friendly and the the two gentlemen we played with were great company and informative about the different holes. It made for a pleasant day despite the current conditions.
Horrible Tee Boxes and Rough
Totally not worth the price. Half the tee boxes were like teeing up from the rough / sand. The greens were in good shape but everything else looked like the staff just stopped caring about the course and because golf is so crowded and popular these days most public courses do not care how the course looks since they know people will pay. $80 for a poorly kept course is brutal.
It was a great course in the past
We lost several balls just off of the fairways, tees on several holes , there was no grass, grass had not been cut for awhile. Many sand traps that were there before are all left abandoned with grass and weeds.
Last time playing here
I gave this course a second chance before rating it and the course was exactly as I left it. The path to the 2nd hole is not intuitive and the sign that points to the “next tee” is facing the wrong way. We went all the way to hole 16 only to realize we went the wrong way on the path. When we came back the sign shows you where to go. If they faced the sign in the right direction it could all be avoided. You then have to remember that when leaving hole 16 or you’ll end up at hole 2 when you read the “next tee” sign. One of the forward tee boxes wasn’t even marked. We went all the way to the fairway to realize that we completely missed it because it wasn’t marked. Finding balls is very difficult as well here due to trash on the course. Just overall a below average course for the cost of a decent course.
poor etiquette by players
felt rushed
course and cart paths , clubhouse need lots of upgrades
Excellent course
First time playing. Got rained out after 14 holes. Not sure if you get a rain check that late in the round but just went home
Kimberton Golf Club
Had a fun time playing 18, despite heavy rain that morning making the course challengingly wet.
Nice Course
Haven't played this course in years and was impressed. The course was in great shape considering the recent rains and heat. It was fun to play and I will definitely go back,.
