Landis Creek Golf Club

About
Just a short drive from King of Prussia, Landis Creek Golf Club (previously known as Limerick Golf Club) is situated right along the border of Chester County and Berks County. Opened in 1965, the course has a traditional layout that is player friendly enough for all skill levels. In 2012, the golf course changed ownership and also underwent a major renovation. The greens were reconditioned and the irrigation system improved, which has elevated the conditions of the course. The layout is a classic links design that is mostly open though there are a few mature trees that call for accuracy. Strategically placed bunkers provide challenges throughout but you won't find much water on this golf course, though there are two lakes that come into play occasionally. Landis Creek Golf Club has some tricky holes but overall it's gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence.

I am by no means a golf snob. I’ll play anywhere. Played this course before. Took my son here for a father son day. There was not one piece of green grass on the course. Let me rephrase that, there didn’t seem to be any grass at all. The fairways were dead crab grass. I mean it wasn’t even grass. Dirt and weeds. One of the greens was cracked like the Sahara. I think what got me was this coupled with the $65 greens fee. Charging that was insulting. Don’t think I will ever be back.
No ride along for adults?.
Golfed here many times before with no problems. Today came for my t time. Was told my significant other could not ride along with me at all because of an insurance issue with a 2year old?. I understand for children but to not let another adult spectate the game is unacceptable. I even offered to pay for the ride along. Makes no sense to me. Will not be coming back.
In Bad Shape
Is what it is for $45, but the course is in seriously rough shape. The tee boxes are concrete and the fairways are atrocious. Countless shots where it hurt me to be in the fairway, the rough was in better shape. Greens decent by comparison, but it's hard to play a round of golf when hitting it into the fairway hurts you.
Burnout
All of the fairways are completely burned out. It was like hitting off of cement. Don't waste your time playing here until they fix the fairways. The only plus was a cold beer and a good lunch at the Creekside Pub.
(
The fairways were a bit worn due to no watering but we found grass when needed to hit shots. The course was nice and tight fairways were challenging
Fairways very rough.
Fairways were very rough. Lots of weeds, dried out and hard as a rock.
Mount excuse for the condition
Absolutely terrible condition. Greens are diseased and fairways are dead. Bunkers are rocks and grass. The replacement sand piles even had grass growing in them.... they have done zero to keep this course nice
Bad course
The only reason the pace of play is good is because it’s empty. Fairways looked like dirt patches, greens were decent, bunkers had weeds taller than me, and the rough was ankle deep. Don’t recommend for how expensive it is.
Rude staff
The course is nice enough, not expensive, and in solid condition. Got some cool holes. But the staff members at the pro shop are so rude
Love to play here
This place is great. Always extremely friendly staff every time we play. 10/10 would recommend.
Haven’t played this courses since 2023. The fairways were horrible. Look like someone did donuts on all the par 4s and par 5s. The starter or pro shop didn’t have a clue of the course conditions - so they say. I will not patronize Landis - Turtle Creek is much better.
