The 14th - a nice short par 3 with a tricky green. Photo submitted by GolferJake78 on 03/01/2019

The 17th - probably my favorite hole on the course. Photo submitted by GolferJake78 on 03/01/2019
Good round
Herndon Centennial has always been a fun place to play with good value for the money. The course conditions were quite good except for the teeboxes. They were pretty torn up and rarely level. Rating would have been 5-stars except for that. Fairways were great and greens were good, although slower than usual for this course. Pace of play was good, but it was a Monday morning.
Great condition, slow pace
The course is in great condition but the pace is play is slow. I've played the course twice this month; both rounds were 5 hours, despite teeing off at 7 am. But it's worth it for the condition. Best conditions in NOVA for a public course.
I like this course
It's a nice course, nice fairways, nice greens, but I have one complaint - the gnats. Come on folks, you guys need to spray. As soon as you're getting ready to hit or putt, no matter where you are on the course, the gnats are flying all around your head, your eyes and mouth. Can really do without it. I hope you will make some changes as it is really disruptive.
Golf
Course is beautiful shape, green and felt spongy. A lot of rain. Soft greens.
Pace of play was 5-5.5hrs as the Marshall stated.. This is ridiculous. Stop blaming the beautiful weather for non-enforcement of pace. Standard pace is 4hrs for foursomes. Hire Marshalls. Please, do better.
It’s as though / ever since Covid, the pace of play has gone by the wayside and clubs don’t care. Allowing music to be played.
Golf is the gentlemen’s game. Do better.
Golf
Plus: Course was in beautiful shape.
Plus: tee boxes and construction from last year was complete, nice muni-course.
You lost me here: pace of play was absolute garbage. Marshall stating pace of play was 5-5.5hrs for a round is absurd.
The gentleman’s game has lost its touch since Covid. People are playing music, wandering aimlessly. Great looking course…
Please, do better. Played a round today at BrManor in Bristow, VA, just as jam packed - no Marshall - 4hrs flat.
Again - do better on pace of play; it’s as thought mgmt doesn’t care. Standard Pace of play is 4hrs or less for foursomes. Hire a Marshall or 2. Do better, waited on every shot and stop blaming the beautiful weather
Great walking course
I just love this course. It's perfect for my game. Not too difficult but can test your course management.
