1st time playing here. Fun course! I will be back!
Early morning tee time on a Wednesday - fast 9 holes in 1 hour with a cart.
The clubhouse gentlemen was very welcoming and got me in and out quick.
I only used driver on two holes. I enjoyed the smaller track, lots of 6 iron off the tee on par 4s and 9 iron for par 3s.
Tee boxes were overall good shape
Some narrow fairways and some wide and open.
The greens were rolling a little slower than I’m used too but I enjoyed the round.
I’ll be back to play the full 18 holes - on the 9 greens!
Carts were so dirty
People are so nice but the carts and pro shop was so dirty. Unfortunately this place has really gone downhill. It’s sad because it was quite the the course to go to ☹️
Loved the scenery
My husband and I can’t wait to go play there again. The course is definitely clean and playable. Had a very good time. Employees were very friendly and helpful.
The Sun
When the valley is locked in with fog, it is always a treat to hit Tapps Island Golf Course in full sun. December 31st was a day to remember. No wind...full sun and fun play. You can't go wrong...it's an amazing place to play. Excellent food upstairs sealed the deal after a great round. Thank you to the staff for an outstanding day of golf.
Great course
Very nice course with great views. Will fall in affect needs a little a little more maintenance with all the leaves. Other than that great course

Nice place on the lake, beautiful views. Pace of play was decent. Staff friendly and helpful. Good value for the cost.
Always a pleasure
Parking is the only issue. Everything else is quite good. Have to respect the local members who actually do own the place (potential for 5-somes, but they’ll likely play way faster than your group)
You’ll enjoy the restaurants food and drink afterward for sure.

18 doesn’t mean 18
The staff wouldn’t let us make the turn. They said that they do not sell 18 hole times after 6pm but golf now said we got an 18 hole time. Instead, the one of the staff members was literally giving a lesson to a girl on the first hole instead of letting us continue play.
Golf now said this was an 18 hole rate. The staff wouldn’t let us make the turn and the marshal was on the first course teaching his sister how to play.
Not a course I plan on playing again
It is built on a Island in between a ton of houses. Narrow fairways...too many trees...trees in the middle of a few fairways... The off course amenities are a little hot dog stand. What it lacks in fanciness is made up for by the gentleman running it being amazing. Lost so many balls there in the water...Frustrating day I wont be back.
Tapps Island CG
Most average players wouldn't consider a 9 hole course. If you don't play this course you are missing out on a great round.Two separate pin and Tee boxes create the feel of an 18 hole course. Its absolutely a beautiful setting. The course isn't long but it will definitely give you a challenge. Water comes into play on 6 of the 9 holes. Each hole has its own caricature. Great course for couples .
