About
Lakeland Golf Club originally opened in 1964 and in 2002 it was expanded to an 18-hole championship course. Barry Serafin reworked the traditional design of the original layout into a challenging course that is still playable for a range of skill levels. The five diverse sets of tees make it even more accommodating. Seasoned players will find the championship tees to be a formidable test but the gold tees are tame enough for beginners. Its versatility makes the golf course an excellent venue for tournaments and outings. The course can be tight in some spots, requiring a fair amount of accuracy. Lakeland Golf Club's fairways are generous and seemingly tame but they are bordered by strategically positioned bunkers. There are also meandering streams and a few lakes that come into play on a few holes.

Course conditions
The course honestly was in good condition. We had a lot of rain that week and the course has great run off. The grounds crew’s were out doing their best to get caught up. I have to say great job guys the fairways and greens were in great shape the rough was a little longer than normal but they were out there the day I played working their butts off. Truly one of my favorite places to play.
Improving but still needs TLC
Always liked Lakeland, the layout is strong. They've done a good job bringing the greens back to life. Still a little slow, but soft and they mostly roll true. Fairways need a lot of work though, very shaggy and lots of brown spots.
Nice course
The course was in really good condition some of the best I’ve seen for this course. Fairways were good greens were in great shape, tee boxes were in pretty good condition as well. The one thing that would elevate this course to the next level is kill all the clover in the rough areas and cut the greens a bit shorter to speed them up.
Holiday Weekend
Despite being busy, service was good and pace of play was pretty good, as well.
Solid course
The course was in great shape, course was very playable and provided difficulties that will challenge your game.
The driving range has no access by golf cart and is located at the back of the property. The putting green was extremely small and lacked room to practice lag putts, and no real way to practice chipping
What a nice course to play.
Challenging, greens are very well cared
For. Our group will return very often this season. Anna is Very helpful and nice! It’s a
Pleasure playing this course. It seems to get better every year. Even with all the May rain!
Beautiful course
A wonderful layout and beautiful views from this gem in saint paris. Tee boxes were awesome, fairways were rolling, greens in beautiful shape. Only thing is you gotta make sure you are somewhat in the fairway if not, it’s more of a difficult shot. The rough was tough. Unfortunately they were working on the putting/chipping greens and the driving range is on the backside of the course. Carts were in good shape and club house was as well. Need to upgrade the food choice but other than that, great place to play. Definitely would recommend this to my buddies and will play again!
The greens are in the best shape ever.
My friends and I love this course. It’s challenging and currently in the best shape all year. The staff are wonderful and friendly. Pace of play was great. Mostly quiet and peaceful. That is until golfer s do a bad strike.
Really like Lakeland
The staff are super friendly. Love the layout. We will be back again this year. Course is in good shape.
