About
Woodland Golf Club's secluded site in Cable has helped the course to remain one of the area's best secrets. It is often not busy, but it is not for lack of a good round. The course sprawls across gently rolling hills dotted with sparkling lakes and ponds. There are also babbling creeks that meander through the course. The layout features a variety of fairways, ranging from some that are watered and others that are tight and tree-lined. Half of the holes were carefully carved from the mature woodlands. The large, well manicured greens putt fast and true. In addition to the golf course, Woodland G.C. also offers a driving range and putting green for golfers to use.

Perfect Day
Very well kept course, tee boxes in very good condition, facilities clean and well kept, staff was very cordial and friendly. First time playing. A lot of hills that keep you guessing what club to use and the greens were super fast. 100% coming back.
Impressed with woodland 360*
Had a wonderful afternoon by myself in the heat and sunshine at Woodland. To start the parking lot looked freshly paved and striped. The clubhouse/ bar and restaurant looked freshly finished and was very modern and impressive. You could tell the course had been provided some TLC. Most of the bridges that were corrugated metal looked shiny and new with freshly backfill dirt and gravel over the top of the pipe. All the traps were freshly raked and playable. Fairways groomed nicely and greens rolling as they should. The heat prevented many from playing I am sure. This course is about 45 minutes west of the west side of Columbus which may have also prevented some players from coming out. The course is not necessarily what I would call easy but does require some thought in regard to water hazards and shot selection. I was very impressed not having played here for possibly 5 or 6 years and since new ownership a couple of years ago. They have really provided some TLC here. Staff was exceptional.
What a hidden gem!!
Was traveling for work in the area and decided to get a round in here. I was absolutely amazed by this place. Amenities you would only normally expect at a private course. Course is in pristine condition. Challenging but fair course. Carts even have ball/club washers attached! Which I loved. Can’t wait to come back
In cable Ohio? Really?
What a nice course and clubhouse. My expectations were low coming in thinking this was going to be some low level, flat, non-challenging hillbilly course, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Great undulations, fast greens, challenging holes. I nearly used my whole back playing from the silvers. I'm definitely coming back despite the hour drive. The people were very friendly and helpful. Kinda like they were happy for me to be there. Other courses take note.

Course is in great shape. Tough but fair track. Love how all the staff makes us feel at home!
Woodland perfect
I drove from about an hour away from this course with no knowledge of the course but the will to play somewhere new and this course did not disappoint. Many different variations in the course layout and condition was in amazing condition considering the season just started! I’ll be returning!
Hidden gem in Champaign county
Was solo and got paired with a dad and daughter. Wonderful day, course looking very good to start the season off and of course, the clubhouse is excellent. Staff and everybody is nice and everything is convenient. Got new carts and even come with tees as well! Always would recommend anyone playing this course if you haven’t played it already.
a nice challenge
It can be a little difficult finding this course your first trip, it is hidden away, but worth the travel! this course has changed over several years, with tornado damage felling trees, and emerald ash borer decimation. That being said, the course is now a little more open and the fairways and greens are all the better for it. Still tight in spots. Make sure you check your gps for distance to hazards. A fun course with interesting elevation changes.
