Elks 51 Golf Club
Located in Springfield, Elks 51 Golf Club (formerly known as Northwood Hills Country Club) is an 18-hole golf course that has been around since 1958. The course has a traditional design that measures in at just over 6,500 yards. It is a straightforward layout that is sprinkled with stands of mature trees, which are most heavily concentrated along the fairways. The golf course requires a fair amount of accuracy but there is some room for error. Overall, it is a player-friendly layout that is gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence but there are a few challenges in store.
