Golfer Reviews
36 holes at Royal Melbourne
Playing 36 holes at Royal Melbourne counts among the best days in golf. Even though the East isn't as highly rated as the West, it still features many of the same characteristics - doglegs, bold bunkering, a rolling landscape through the Australian Sandbelt - and ranks among the top 100 courses in the world. Only six of the East's holes are used in the famous "Composite Course" at the club that is the tournament routing. Golfers cross the street after the fourth hole and return after the 15th. This disjointed interruption is but a minor flaw to a memorable experience.
