A wild ride on the Mornington Peninsula
The first tee introduces the difficulty of this course. You're staring at a demanding uphill par 4 guarded by a tough carry off the tee, several bunkers on the left and death to the right. The green looks like it's at the top of a skyscraper.
This round is one wild rollercoaster ride. The terrain is among the most extreme I've ever seen. That lends to gorgeous views out to the water, especially from the dramatic par 3 7th. But it also lends to lots of daunting lies and shots. No matter what you shoot, just be happy you can play it as an overseas visitor.
