Eagle Lakes Golf Club

Drove over from Hollywood to play an early round and picked this place… BIG MISTAKE. As we’re getting ready to hit our first drive lawn maintenance worker shows up with a leaf blower.. we tried to get his attention so we could hit our first drive in peace, but to no avail so we hit anyway.

As we were walking back to our golf cart, Dennis the superintendent, pulled up and we could tell immediately that he had an attitude by the first sentence that came out of his mouth-and without even asking us what our issue was he seemed that he had made up in his mind that he was going to throw us off of his golf course as he called it.. His tone was completely unprofessional and it elevated the situation… maybe a little conversation with his employees about respecting people in the tee boxes could’ve avoided situations like this…

He then went to go retrieve his general manager Josh and they showed up as we were ready to hit our second shot.. I can see why Dennis treats guests the way he does .. must of learned that from Josh, who couldn’t even wait for the golf cart to stop as he jumped out and started screaming and cursing at us to leave the golf course, or he will call the sheriff and have us arrested.. meanwhile Dennis wanted to fight the old man as he called my brother…

All because we were trying to get a leaf blower turned off when we were hitting our first drive…

I’ve never seen two people in charge of running a golf course with such disgusting behavior in the 40 years that I have been playing…

Somebody needs to remind the general manager, Josh that he doesn’t need to tell people they can no longer play golf at Eagle Lakes

I’m sure he and his superintendent have made that decision easy for a lot of golfers….

Everything was great. It would be nice if they sent out an email when it’s cart path only before you arrive. Some players can’t do the walk. A simple email notification would be great.

Just moved to Naples and first time playing Eagle Lakes. I have already played some nice courses, but I was surprised at 1/2 the price, the course is in good condition with a few tricked out obstacles.

Excellent price and good pace through 18 holes..

Definitely adding this to my list.

From the minute i arrived the staff was very please to see me and courteous. The course was in good shape.

Great staff, course lay out awesome, well maintained. They had plenty of water and bathrooms available. There were severe rainstorms the night before so it was cart path only but that’s Fla summer golf! Was on a girls trip for the weekend and had to get some west coast Fl golf in.

Course, staff, price, and conditions were great. Played midmorning in July and the mosquitoes were vicious. We could not put on enough insect repellent.

We played this course twice this month. On both occasions, players ahead of us, came off after 3 holes because of mosquitos. We sprayed up regularly but they We still suffered multiple bites.

It was the dog days of summer heat in South Florida. The course was an excellent shape. All fairways and greens were excellent.

14 out of 18 greens were in excellent shape. There were a handful that needed some attention.

We last played 2 or 3 years ago. We were pleased to see thst the fsirways and tees have all been replaced.

Good value for money this time of year. Plenty of alligators and birds as well as mosquitoes. Bug spray is needed

I have played here a few times and this was the best condition I have seen the course in

Live on Marco, went with my father to play 18 holes. Amazing staff!! Frank was awesome!! Stopped in for a bite to eat and it was great! The women that worked in the restaurant/bar were super friendly. We will definitely be back!!

Lots of gnats. Course and greens in excellent shape.
