Staff was excellent but course was average:

Greens were way too slow to the point everyone was complaining.

Tees were pushed to the back edge of the tee box to the point you’d stand off the tee box.

Back 9 was in rough shape.

Cart would shut down if you got close to rough on several holes.

I’d pay $50-75 in its current condition, if it was better maintained, a little more; definitely not worth north of $100

do better. not worth the price compared to a municipal course.

Pace of place very slow due to a Blind players tournament. Started back 9. Staff should have offered a price discount for the inconvenience.

Greens are long and not well maintained. Was told they lost their head greenskeeper and whoever is there now just didn’t mow the greens. Still charged full price for a weekend tee time of course.

Staff is beyond friendly. Course in great shape considering they weathered a brutal Texas summer. Greens hanging in there. I never ceases to be amazed how senil the course is and just how epic some holes are. Always have a great time.

We have played this course a number of time and usually have a great time. They were verticutting a few of the greens, they did not share this with us when we booked or checked in. The staff was not paying attention and when we came up on them on the 6th hole they have taken out the flag as they were blowing the grass off the green. We tried to get their attention but could not. I called the clubhouse and was told to skip any holes where this was going on. We were not okay with this as we paid for 18 holes not 16. Very disappointed by the way they handled this.

Greens were painted and like shag carpet. The pace of play was great. Course is usually pretty good. I would still recommend it as I have played here many times.

The greens were in rough shape. I understand they were aerated two weeks ago but they were really brutal. Putting felt a lot like playing pinball. While I understand aerating is an important part of course maintenance, it seems ridiculous to charge full price (close to $130) to play a course with significantly below average greens during the hottest time of the year.

The starter, Joe is as amazing as they come. Very friendly, outgoing and as personable as they come. Always greets us with a smile, a handshake or hug. Awesome guy. The course was in great shape as well.

Arrived at the course 35 min before tee time to be told that they have no more carts and other groups will need to finish before we can get a cart.

Range balls were not included in the $100 round and the driving range was terrible and basically just straight sand.

Fairways were basically short rough. I wouldn’t even call it fairways but the greens were pretty solid.

Very poor course management. Had a bachelor party infront of us. 20 min per hole pace. Finished 9 after 2 hrs & 30 min.

Told the marshal but it didn’t do anything. Lady at the halfway house decided to add her own tip and sign for the transaction. When I called her out on it she acted like she couldn’t speak English.

Left on hole 16 after 5 hrs and 20 min. On pace for a 6 hour round.

Course wouldn’t refund and only offered a credit. Won’t be back

Every time I visit Austin, I tried to play his course.

This is an awesome layout but conditions of the greens currently is not good. Greens are bumpy, slow, and inconsistent.
