Designed by Dick Phelps, Forest Creek Golf Club has been named "Best Public Golf Course in Central Texas" by Golf Digest as well as "Golf Club of the Year" by Club Corporation of America. Phelps' design features plush, narrow fairways, and its namesake Forest Creek that comes into play on 11 holes. Many of the holes dogleg, and its most difficult holes are the long par 4s. These holes are especially evident on the back nine, with holes 10, 15, and 18 all playing well over 400 yards. The 15th is the most difficult, playing a bogey-welcoming, par 5-like 472 yards.

Always a great experience
The golf course is in as good as shape as ever, and the staff are super friendly. And even though it felt like our round was slow, we still played in exactly 4 hours.

Tee time
My experience at the course today was a very positive one. Lucky I was playing with a person who had experienced the course before and gave me great advice during the round. Course played very fair and I had a good time out there. Will be back and play this track again.
Amazing Shape !
The course was in amazing shape, especially during the summer, it Never burned out , they actually water it !!
Staff is very nice, pace of play is never really bad.
Tim ( Head Pro) does a Great job Managing this Club, they are lucky to have him !👍⛳️🏌️♂️
Great twilight round at Forest Creek
We had a great day of golf at Forest Creek. Course is in great condition and staff was super friendly.
Great pace for holiday AM round
Went off at 830. Finished in 4:40. Saw bev cart 3x. Cart path only on 9 which was great as course was in great shape considering it held probably 2-3 inches of rain over the preceding couple of days. Fairways were damp but very playable and no ruts from carts. Greens were very green no burn out spots, rolled true if a little slower than normal based on recent rains. Tee boxes manicured. Friendly starter. . One of the top 2 public courses in Austin. Practice facility on mats unfortunately. Practice green quicker than course conditions.
Great value, reasonable pace for a holiday- we waited on group in front we had nowhere to go and marshall did not give us grief. Highly recommend and we will be back.
