Forest Creek Golf Club

Forest Creek is in great shape right now. The course is very well maintained from tee to green, and you can tell they’re putting the work into keeping it that way. The greens rolled true and were a little on the firm side, but overall they played really well.

One of the biggest positives is the pace of play. It’s honestly some of the best in the area and noticeably better than what I’ve experienced at Teravista or Avery Ranch. As far as overall course condition, layout, and pace of play, I’d put Forest Creek right up there with Star Ranch.

The only real drawback from my experience was the assistant pro in the clubhouse. He came across as pretty rude and unnecessarily abrasive, which was disappointing considering how good the rest of the experience was.

That being said, the golf course itself absolutely deserves five stars. Great conditions, great pace, and a really enjoyable round. I’ll definitely be back.

This is one of the well-maintained courses in Taylor and Austin.

I will go next week as well, and the week after that will also be there.

Course is usually in good condition and great practice area. Always have a good time.

I used to be a member here and with a few changes were made by management that truly didn’t favor members. I decided to end my membership and hadn’t played here in a while, but found a really good deal on GolfNow and gave it a try and to my surprise the Course was in pretty good shape . I gave it 5 stars for value only because of the GolfNow deal but I have always enjoyed the layout of the course and after playing it I will probably be back to play it again if I find another good deal since it was a positive experience

Course is in great condition!! Driving range is great. $100 green free but that comes with small bucket of range balls hot dog or sausage wrap and a craft beer or fountain drink. Great place to play. Visiting but will definitely play again! Staff was friendly and smiling. Starter was awesome guy! Even gives the ladies a golf ball bet they start. You don’t want to miss out on this course.

Challenging course - but in good condition and the pace of play was outstanding for a holiday weekend. Great staff, on-course refreshment cart at a regular interval, great amenities re: range, putting green, chipping area. If I could get it to stop eating my golf balls now…

Course was in good shape considering all the rain the night before. Layout was interesting with many blind doglegs. Some of the greens were bumpy but most were in good shape.

Perfect weather and a great paring with two fellow golfers.

Haven't played FC in a couple of months. Decided to go back and play a round. Dissapointing. With the relatively mild temps and decent rain we've gotten, looking at the course you'd think we're in a drought. Lots of really bad spots on greens, a closed hole that honestly looked better than some of the open holes.

I know the maintenance must be sub-par due to the fact that they water with reclaimed water, and another course 10 minutes away is in beautiful shape and very well maintained.

We'll continue to play here sparingly when significant discounts are available.

The course is a fun track but the greens weren’t playable. Half of them weren’t green. But they did discount the round knowing the shape of the course which was nice.
