About
Designed by Dick Phelps, Forest Creek Golf Club has been named "Best Public Golf Course in Central Texas" by Golf Digest as well as "Golf Club of the Year" by Club Corporation of America. Phelps' design features plush, narrow fairways, and its namesake Forest Creek that comes into play on 11 holes. Many of the holes dogleg, and its most difficult holes are the long par 4s. These holes are especially evident on the back nine, with holes 10, 15, and 18 all playing well over 400 yards. The 15th is the most difficult, playing a bogey-welcoming, par 5-like 472 yards.

Disappointing Greens
Bad greens always take the fun out of playing a course no matter how well the rest of the course is maintained. Average golfers need good greens on which to putt and chip. Please fix this problem.
Great course, Bad Greens
Really love this course, the greens are just rough.
Poor course
Forest creek has to be one of the worst courses around right now. Fungus on the greens, dry fairways and charging $78 per round. The price doesn’t reflect the conditions.
Big disappointment
I’ve played Forest Creek numerous times and always been impressed - the staff is still great and the course layout is fun, but course was not in good shape. The bunkers had not been dressed recently and the greens were in bad shape. They were often more than 50% burned or frozen out. On the areas that did have grass, the coverage was inconsistent and putts bounced and veered offline frequently. It’s going to be a while before I go back.
Great course
Really enjoyed my round, greens are a little rough, but overall it’s a nice course.
Better than good
The course was fun and challenging, the turf was mostly good and the greens weee not bad!
Disappointing
Course has gone downhill. Greens were compressed mud and sand.
Rain Check
As this seems to be the only way I can contact Golf Now I am requesting a rain check. The golf course asked that we contact Golf Now Directly but it was impossible to speak with anyone at the time we came off the course.
Our teetime was 12:20 and it took 3hours 14 min to play 9 holes. The course apologised as the pace was due to the course being closed for 2 hours due to frost which subsequently backed up the course.
Can you please arrange for a rain check.
On a point of communication please make your contact options easier to access including phone and email which seems to be hiding somewhere on your site.

Always a great experience
The golf course is in as good as shape as ever, and the staff are super friendly. And even though it felt like our round was slow, we still played in exactly 4 hours.
