Great course, great value.
For the price and pace of play, this course is the best Muny Austin offers. It is mildly challenging and easy to get through. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun round in Austin.
Great course - rude staff behind the counter
Snide, lame excuses from the two women behind the counter that we couldn't have our second son join us for the back nine. NEVER MIND THAT THERE WAS NO ONE BEHIND US AT THE TURN. NEVER MIND THAT THE FRONT NINE PLAYED IN 1:40. Yet they were "too busy today..." Get over yourselves. Been playing here since 1977 - won' the going back...
Another good day, almost
I was having a very good before the rain set in bu #15. The course was in pretty good condition for a public course
Worth it
Almost the whole course is in good shape. Greens aren’t perfect, but it’s a fun round and there isn't much better for the price
Golf Now
I was very disappointed in my placing the reservation - MAINLY I DID NOT REALIZE THAT IT WAS FOR WALKING ONLY - I WOULD HOPE THAT YOU ALL MAKE IT MUCH CLEARER IN YOUR PLACEMENT OF THE TEE TIME CHOICE THAT IT IS FOR WALKING ONLY. I paid $21.00 for the round and then got there and found out that it was for walking only. I am 72 years old and I will never walk a course again. Make sure you make it very clear that a cart is not included. I really thought over the last 6 years that I have been a member of golf now that you even had deals without a cart.
Mo Willy looking good
Greens are in good shape right now at Mo Willy, the bermuda is rounding into form with the warm weather. It's been pretty busy out there. The grill is closed, instead there is a food truck outside below the clubhouse. Worth noting the practice green is being rebuilt and enlarged. Will probably be a few months before it's reopened.
I'm told the driving range is irons-only until they raise the funds to raise the net. I guess some of you bombers damaged some property with your big dogs.
We were a walking fourball on a busy friday morning and got around in under 4 hours. I think not taking out the flags and no bunker rakes is making people play fast.
Great time to get out to get off the computer, get some sunshine, and enjoy Mo Willy right now, ATX'ers.
Fun despite social distancing
The course did a great job maintaining required social distancing and provided a nice round of golf. I was pleasantly surprised that pace of play was good given that I played on a perfect Saturday afternoon. The tee boxes and fairways were in good condition. Some of the greens were in rough shape, but the person I played with said that they were improving. I will certainly play the course again.
Take into consideration that this is an old course
The staff is cool and when they get the new practice facility in the course will be really good. The greens just need a little work and they need to know the rough and will be good to go!
Lost their greens, in bad shape
Tee boxes are a little rough, fairways in decent shape but they lost their greens, seems to have a disease now with hardly any grass. Basically feels like you are putting on dirt with weeds.
Save your money and stay away from this course until they get the greens back.
