Devon Golf and Conference Center

With the short golf season cut further by the large amounts of rain, we can expect the golf courses to be packed. That being said, golf etiquette and basic knowledge should still be observed. When my son and I were paired with two young golfers on their second ever outing while we were playing the tips. They were very late causing waiting groups frustration. As they hit their 5th shot to catch up to our drives, despite our encouragement, the group behind was allowed to hit up on us. Not a great start... There were no marshals out there to assist with maintaining flow.

I have always enjoyed this track. It is an absolutely beautiful location. The only thing this time was the winter kill was major. At least 1\3 of the greens were pretty rough. But other than that. Absolutely love the place. I will give it a couple of months before returning. Hopefully the winter kill will be healed by then.

Excellent day of golf, coarse was in prime condition , a few greens need some tlc.Staff was very polite and accomdating.

Had a wonderful afternoon with my friends. Very friendly and helpful staff, my buddy did have to rent a set of left handed clubs and got charged 90$ and the bag didn't even have a driver..

Expected some issues being early in the golf season in Alberta. BUT, the greens were awful, the fairways had a lot of bare spots and it was obvious that the course needs some time to develop through the season.

Then, there were 2 holes where the green was on the either side of the road, because there is a camp ground adjacent to the course and this road , through the course is the way in.

So, you need to watch for cars coming before you can tee off, or on your second shot on the other hole.

Bush league set up and for $92!Dont think I will play it again as there are lots of options at that price and better courses available for a lot less money. Wasn’t even a weekend!

Love the course, definitely challenging, no beer cart, but the shack at the turn had beer available. Washrooms out of order on the 10th… but bushes were available on most holes. 👍
