About
Situated at the base of Halton Hills, Hornby Glen Golf Course was built upon rolling, wide-open terrain. This affordable public course offers the quality and many of the amenities of a private club, including a clubhouse and pro shop. The tumbling landscape provides undulating fairways and expansive, rolling greens where players are likely to three-putt if not patient. Despite the golf course's hilliness, it is surprisingly easy to walk. The layout is gentle enough for beginners but it also provides an excellent way for more advanced golfers to work on their short game. The par-4 eighth is Hornby Glen Golf Course's signature hole, known for the long ravine that appears halfway down the fairway where if you get stuck, you'll be facing a blind shot to the green.

Decent spot close to home and for the price
Sand bunkers were not kept very well, greens were very slow, a lot of holes were very close together in particular the 1st and the 9th…directly beside eachother so things felt tight, no cart service so if you wanted anything to drink you are out of luck, staff got mad at us for driving our cart on the fairway…that’s kind of the point of driving a golf cart…also if you leave it on the path others can’t pass you.
Good beginner course, close to home, we had fun anyway. Good course if you are looking to get out in a pinch, not if you were hoping for an experience

Great for families and less experienced golfers
A pretty course with lots of wide, open fairways. Loved the outing with my kids and a friend who hadn’t played in a few years.
12:10 tee time, saw cart girl twice throughout first 9, 0 times on back, greens extremely slow, otherwise course was fine. Won’t come back

$53 seems a little steep for 9 holes.
Late afternoon on a weekday meant a fairly empty front nine.
Tee boxes in decent shape considering the time of year.
Fairways in very good condition.
Greens had so many recent ball marks I must have repaired a half dozen or more every green.
Reception at pro shop was dismal. Probably looking forward to the end of his shift.
Good course
Good course. Always a tee time available. Staff are great.
Could use a beverage cart and a few more benches for when the walkers are waiting at the tee box.
