Golfer Reviews
Phenomenal layout.
A superb public course with a private club feel. Astonishing layout and design with conditions well above what is expected of a public course. Grandiose scenery around every corner, all in a natural setting without houses…yet. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this place go private someday. I only wish they would have allowed walking on the weekend.
Amazing shape / Layout
It reminded me of a private course, similar to Little Mountain and Stonewater, but a little more open! Great day played the front in 2 hours and 5 minutes, but got backed up on the turn behind two foursomes on the box and one in the fairway. We eventually got spaced out but we were well over 3 hrs. For the back nine! Hole 17 worth the price of admission! Beautiful layout and hole, (club down!!!)
Amazing Course!
Never seen a public course in such amazing shape, beautiful layout and just a wonderful round. I didn’t mark the amenities high because we did not have time to check out the driving range or putting green, we got there and were up! Front 9 played perfectly, no wait and finished in 2 hours and 6 minutes, both groups in front of us stopped at the 1/2 way point and when we showed up to #10 there were two foursomes waiting! So the back took us just over 3 hours to play, which wasn’t bad but not as enjoyable as the front. Course was absolutely amazing, a must play for anyone that hasn’t played it before. Reminded a little of Little Mountain and Ellsworth Meadows. Truly a great day and well worth every cent!!!
6 hour round
we walked off after playing 9 holes in 3 hours. We asked and were given rain chgecks, but the gent in the pro shop said we should re-think our expectations. Wanted to like this place but way too slow of a pace of play
Quick 9
4 of us caught BC for 9 holes (front 9) on a night when we pretty much had the course to ourselves. Love the layout. Because of so much play and weather the greens were chewed up a bit. Mostly because 80% of the people that play don’t know about fixing ball marks. It’s a fun track. Catching it at the right time was key. Rounds tend get very long on weekends generally.
Great course
The Course was in fantastic shape. Pace was good for the most part. Very challenging with huge greens that were tough to read. All in all it’s a very nice Course to play and I highly recommend it.
Boulder Creek
One of the best golf courses in the general Cleveland area, and one of my absolute favorites. Layout is amazing, views are beautiful, and it poses a challenge while also giving out plenty of opportunities to score. Feels like you’re playing on Tour every time you step on the 1st box. Have played here plenty times during the season and it won’t be the last. Love Boulder Creek.
A GEM
Boulder Creek
First time playing Boulder Creek and we will be back! From tee boxes to green every thing was in tip top shape. It's nice even having well taken care of women's tee boxes (so many courses I feel like women's tee boxes are an after thought). Fairways were pure and well kept. The rough was just long enough to challenge you for missing the fairway. The greens~ large and many with multiple undulations, again well kept. Was worried about pace of play, we had a 1pm tee time, but we only had a few holes where we had to wait for a fairway to clear to tee off. Beautiful course and who knew Streetsboro had so many hills?!?
Conditions are declining it seems
I’ve played here a handful of times and have always enjoyed the course. Id rather play a quick weekday nine, than on the weekend though. Unfortunately the place seems to be declining overall, bad food, low staff standards, goofy clubhouse bathroom and subpar conditions for the price. I’m not saying it’s a dump, the lay out is still beautiful, and fun to play. But the whole place screams cheap ownership cutting corners to maximum profits, and it’s killing a good golf course. The guy should sell it to someone who cares enough to get the place back in shape before it’s too late. Right now, I’ll save myself $10-25 bucks a round and go play one of 2 dozen other courses in the area that provide a greater or equal experience for less money.
Very slow play, no one cared
5 1/2 round, super slow grouping front of us. Talked to the Marshall who could care less. Group in front at least two holes behind.
