One of the toughest holes here is the second, a long par-4 with woods to the left, more trees on the right, and two large bunkers guarding the green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/01/2024
-
The fifth is a gem of a par-five, starting with a terrific downhill tee shot and a view of Hartford in the distance. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/01/2024
-
Nine is a classic uphill par-4; its fairway doglegs left, then heads for this relatively narrow green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/01/2024
-
Twelve doglegs right, then ascend a small hill to a pitched green, a green that is often treacherously fast downhill. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/01/2024

Guarding the left of fairway thirteen is a prominent water hazard, but it can be as fatal as it is beautiful. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/01/2024

Seventeen requires two solidly struck shots to hit its raised putting surface in regulation. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/02/2022

The fourth, a par-3 of 148, challenges especially on the tee shot and with fast downhill putts. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/04/2022

Golfer Reviews
Great course for the money
The course was an excellent shape. The tea boxes could use a little upgrade, but the fairways and greens were in very good condition.
Great course with lots of forgiveness
This course is beautiful for the price and deals on golf now. Great course for all skill levels especially beginners or duffers. I love playing here I’ll be back before the season ends
Love this course!
Easy play with a lot of forgiveness. Green are well maintained for my liking. Pace of play is perfect for intermediate or duffer players
Good Value
Course was in Good Shape but the Greens were slow I'd.much perfer a little faster roll. But all in all it's a fun Course.
Underrated
Really nice course and facility, fantastic for the price. Features long holes and some nice shots over water plus some challenging par 3/4s. Fairways had barely any puddles even with the rain. Carts have charging ports. Drinks and food priced well. Will be back for sure.
A mixed Bag
The course could definitely use some work. The greens were in fairly good shape but they ran a little slow. There were breaks that were hard to read which made putting interesting. The fairways were bumpy and had many difficult lies, and inconsistent grass length. The rough was in bad shape. Crowded and slow play on the front nine, but then some people dropped out and we could move for the back nine. The staff was friendly and the price was fair, but not a course I would play again.
Must Play
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great experience at East Hartford Golf Course. The staff—especially Alex, Patrick, and the rest of the crew—are always friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which really makes a difference.
The course is a lot of fun to play. Greens are fast and tricky, and the fairways are in really good shape. It’s also more challenging than it gets credit for—definitely an underrated track in the area.
On top of that, it’s a great value for the quality you get.
One small suggestion: it would be nice to see the dress code enforced a bit more. Occasionally, some golfers show up dressed more for a pickup basketball game, which takes away slightly from the overall experience.
Overall, a fun, well-maintained course that I’d definitely recommend.
Horrible management
Booked a tee time online, arrived at the course and was told they had problems with the service and had nothing available for 4 hours and couldn't figure out anything else to provide for us. Gave my contact info to the front desk and never heard back at all, had people in foursome drive 45+ mins from mass to come and we were turned away with nothing but "sorry nothing we can do for you"
