Windham Golf Course

I enjoyed the course layout the paste of the game. I wish I would’ve knew that they had just rated in sand. But it’s still rolled very well. There are some modifications going on on the course. Can’t wait to go back next year and see how it turns out. I did enjoy my round.

Saturday morning tee time 8:30 great no complaints everything was great joyful day green was nice, sorry one negativetje cart girl drove by twice didn't stop step up your game cart girl..

Course conditions have improved with new sod in many of the previous bare spots in the rough off the fairway on many holes. Further new renovations are five new holes under construction. My biggest gripe is that they took away all the water stations on the course. I played on a Tuesday where there was not even a staff cart available to purchase any water/beverages. On a 90 degree+ day this is dangerous and not acceptable.

We were a twosome behind a foursome, and didn’t offer us to play through. At least 2 empty holes ahead. Didn’t see a ranger at all.

It was extremely hot out, the course was empty. Golfnow didn't offer cart so had to purchase at the course, which I thought I was taken advantage of for the price. Extra $25.00 for the cart. Beer cart stopped by every 2 holes to make sure I stayed hydrated.

The course is in great shape. The layout is nice. Didn't get to interact with much staff as the restaurant and the bar was closed. Apparently they're closed every Monday. I've never heard of a golf course having their bar and restaurant closed on any day that they are open. That was very disappointing. But other than that I would go again. Just not on a Monday

They've done a great job on this course. The two new holes are pretty short, and pale in comparison to the original ones lost to the driving range. The main problem is that there was absolutely no drinking water on the course!!!! C'mon Windham, do better.

It was my first time playing here probably since the late 90’s when it was still private. I know it’s gone thru ups and downs. Mostly downs, but it’s definitely BACK! I had an amazing time, the greens were in great condition and so were the fairways. The back nine and the new holes back there were awesome. I’d put that back nine up against any in eastern Connecticut. I will be back, and frequently.

not a fan of electric carts inability to travel 'off piste' (in the minority, i know).

stellar conditions; greens rolled like glass.

I thought the course itself was in good shape . I like the new holes they put in , there weren’t there when I play there last time. The people at the club house were really friendly. I thought the roughs were a little thick but over all I enjoy it.

Course was in great condition but they really need to cut the rough. This is not an Open, for pace of play alone cut shorter than ball height. It’s almost impossible to find any balls not in the fairway. Every hole the group needs to spend way more time finding balls than necessary. Like 2 feet off the fairway and the ball is completely buried and nearly invisible.
