North at Hickory Hills Country Club

Our round was cut short due to poor communication from management. No refund or rain check offered manager on duty was extremely rude and offered no no solution. Despite this course layout and in good condition, will not play here again

No starter. No food (they had a power outage, but honestly didn’t seem staffed for it anyway). Only accepted cash. The course was in bad shapes from a storm, which is not their fault; but when booking it should have been noted they were barely open, or a discount should have been offered.

Prepaid reservations included golf cart for 2. We arrived and weee told there were no carts available . Since I was early I walked to call management 2 minutes into the call I asked what could they do to accommodate me for not providing what. I paid for and the manager hung up the phone . I was right outside but I chose to leave because my okaying partner found Palos country club same price so we flew over and had a great round . By the way I have not gotten my money back yet . Now I remember why had not played this interesting hilly course . Poor management and uncaring personnel

Nice short 9 hole course, pretty with some nice hills. As hard as they tried, the grounds crew couldn't keep up with the falling leaves🍂.

Basically a par 3 course, with well kept fairways (considering the recent lack of rain) and well manicured greens. Hills help make the course more scenic.

I booked a reservation for four people on an 18 whole course. I paid $160 plus $13.96 as a convenience fee. When I got to the golf course, the woman told me that my reservation stated that I was on the 9 Hole course. That was not the case as I showed him. I receipt from email. I explained this to the manager who was able to get us a tee time for 18 holes but he told me that the Golf Now app is kind of deceptive plus I had to pay convenience fees for nothing. I spent more time in the pro shop pleading my case than I did booking this reservation through the app.. never again

Great course for beginners but not really challenging. Roughs are very long and it’s easy to lose a ball on good shots! Not very crowded which was nice but overall just average for the cost!

Course certainly “wears” its name. Hills are so challenging ! Really requires a lot of skill in playing rough and controlling a good direction. Beautifully maintained, staff courteous and helpful. Highly recommended for those who like a challenge.
