About
Wolf Hollow Golf Club originally opened in 1928 as Lena Golf Club. The course tumbles across northwest Illinois' gently rolling hills, incorporating quite a few elevation changes into the layout. The golf course has a true risk-reward design that will thoroughly test your shot-making abilities. With proper course management and a bit of luck, there are several birdie opportunities to be had. Measuring in at just over 6,400 yards from the back tees, the course manages to give you a few lengthy holes but it will also put your short-game skills to the test. The 16th is one of Wolf Hollow Golf Club's most intimidating holes because this par 4 has trouble everywhere. A creek and tall grasses guard the left of the fairway and the small green requires a nearly perfect approach shot.

Sunday 1pm tee off
Love the course. It was just way to busy about 2 to 3 groups waiting to tee off. Would suggest they look at how many people in a group and adjust tee times accordingly
Great Golf Course
We try to play a new course every weekend and this one was recommended and did not disappoint.
Challenging Rolling Hills Layout
Course is well maintained. GPS on carts. Easy to navigate from hole to hole. Pace of play was exceptional
RUDE! RUDE!
Came there to play a round with my 2 grandsons june 29, Monday thinking it would be slower then it was still not overly busy. When we walked into the clubhouse we were greeted by the rudest man ever,and insulted my grandson.all because of him i will never return. Never did get a chance to play this course.
Great layout
What a fun course ! Great layout, the fairways are in great shape . Good challenges with traps around some of the greens. Love #8 and the tee box on #16 . The Wolf Hollow apparel is sweet !
Nice layout!
The dog legs test any golfer! Greens were furry and slow! Had to putt with extra distance to get to the hole. We will be back, enjoyed the round! Well kept fairways and challenging rough. The blind shots were a challenge first time out.
What a great day
The guy work in the pro shop was very nice and let me out an hour ahead of my teatime. First time golfing here . Great experience staff was great golf course was in great condition. Definitely recommend this course.
Great time!!
Starter was attentive & friendly. There was a playday on the day we booked the round. The starter made sure we were made aware of that fact & came out to the driving range to give us an update while we were warming up.
The course was in great condition & if you enjoy each hole having its own “personality” this is your place!!
Great course spring conditions
The greens were in good shape . The course overall was very green. Fairways and first cut were trimmed very nice. Always a friendly course to visit
