Good Time at Trophy Club
Everything was nearly perfect except pace of play. It was a little hot but there was a nice breeze. Course was in good condition for the time of year and weather. Pace of play was only issue. Granted there were only 2 of us, but all 4 of the players in front of us were looking for their tee shots before we reached the green on the hole before. None had found their balls when we reached the T box. Looked like it would be another 15 minutes before we could hit so we skip the hole. Pace was fine after that hiccup.
"The Bones are Fine"
One of Indiana's great tracks However course needs General cleanup, drainage, weed control and Sand trap attention In need of well heeled owner who desires to bring it back to its original beauty!
Always a great course
Besides the fact they are putting in new bunkers and the weather has burned the fairways slightly the course is in great shape! Absolutely one of the best courses to play!
A club that is slowly slipping
I've played The Trophy Club about a dozen times over the past 10 years and always had a good experience. Unfortunately, the club seems to be slipping in the area of conditioning. I was disappointed in the condition of the greens, traps, and fairways. All needed more tender loving care than they were getting. Whether this be because of the amount of play that the courses is getting or a change in maintenance, I don't know. What I do know is that the value received from playing the course has degraded some. I would recommend it to a friend, but just barely. The shaky course condition is not enough for me to write it off, but I'll have to see improvements in the future in order to continue to spend my hard earned dollars there.
Best course in the area.
It is take care of extremely well. The layout it challenging and fun. If I lived closer it would 100% be my go to course.
Fun and Challenging!
This course is challenging, and a lot of fun to play. Bring plenty of balls! There’s a lot of ways to lose them. You’ll encounter narrow fairways on some holes with hazards on both sides. Accuracy will be your friend. Will absolutely play here again.
The traps were in pretty rough shape, but the course is always a challenge. We actually caught it on a fairly calm day, which is rare.
Father&Son 5/24/25
Courteous staff
Good carts- no gps
Tee box’s good
Fairways cut tight, but good grass
Greens rolled constantly, fair speed
Take hint for greens, look close for line
greens have a lot of uphill, down hills& some
big breakers
Now 😡 the bunkers, no sand and hard even if you try to rake them😡 should be marked as ground under repair
Great course that doesn't act like it is
I love this track. This course is very well designed, quite challenging, and well maintained. The reason that I am docking this course a little bit is that the Trophy Club really needs to make more of a name for itself. The carts are old and have no logo, the pencils have no logo or course name, the pins have no course name or logo. A course this nice should be trying to have a premium feel too! Plum Creek, for instance, seems to be putting effort to make a premium golf experience when you play. Trophy has zero branding, water coolers aren't filled, halfway house is not open, etc. They do great at maintaining the course, but they don't seem to be proud about themselves at all!
