Grand Traverse Resort & Spa - The Wolverine Course

I loved playing the Bear and Wolverine for hot deals but now it’s just unaffordable after they took all their courses off golf now. It’s supposed to rain all day tomorrow and they’re still charging an arm and a leg. I used to play these courses for under $40 day of in the middle of summer.

The course is always in good condition even late fall. Staff is always very friendly. Absolutely recommend this facility.

Handsome clubhouse and practice area. The course is heavily played so wear and tear on the tee boxes and pitchmarks on the greens. Pace was on the slow side. I like the bear a better. Overall Wolverine is solid and worth playing.

We were having so much fun, we didn’t mind the slow back nine. There are six or seven tee boxes to choose from on the card, making it playable for all ages. The only area of improvement is to get a on corse Marshall to keep pace of play on track. We still finished in four hours and 40 minutes. I will definitely play it again.

Loved the course except tee boxes were chewed up and sand traps were very rocky.

A truly enjoyable course to play, with 18 distinctive holes that are all in amazing condition. Do yourself a favor and put this on your list of must play courses!

A fun course to play. Not as difficult as the Bear. Signage could be better. Got a great price on golf now.

Course was in great condition for this time of year. Greens have been pluged but still very playable - not as fast as usual but that's fine. Fairways and greens kept clear of leaves - rough, don't go there, gotta put the leaves somewhere! Shot 79, not my first 79 but finally age caught up to my score.

First- all of the courses ar Grand Traverse Resort were in excellent condition when I visited in October. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were emaculate plus they vacuum up the fallen leaves every day - so no lost balls in leaf piles.Wolverine is a super fun and fair course with yardages for every skill level.
