Great course; awful staff.
The course itself and the conditions are great. However, the staff are some of the most unfriendly people at a golf course in northern MI. From Belevedere to Arcadia, Forest Dunes to Gray Walls, we’ve played it all as locals up here. I wish I could keep recommending this course to friends and family but unfortunately I cannot any longer. If they had better staff I would start recommending it again.
Cool 9 Hole Course
This course has some character, thanks to the Donald Ross design. The greens are pretty challenging and make up for the length of the course. The routing has been changed around a few times but makes sense in its current form. The lake views are great. You'll even get a small audience on their boats. For the price, this old gem is hard to beat.
Beautiful Donald Ross Design
Only nine holes and cheap but fairways, tees, greens extremely well maintained. Greens are quite fast and true for a "Resort course".
Have played it most years since 1950 and it only gets better, even if I don't.
