Tyrone Hills Golf Course

Came here on the 15th and left behind my range finder by mistake. Called them the next day when I realized and the guy on the phone confirmed they had it and put my name and phone number on a note card. Wasn't able to pick it up until a week later and when I went to pick it up they all of a sudden didn't have it. All the workers working that day all denied talking to someone about a range finder on the 15th.

Now I am out a $300 blue tees range finder and the staff were no help at all and accused me of lying.

This course is fun because it is very wide open and fairly short with the exception of 3/4 of the par 3's that are guarded by trees. You can score well even if you play conservatively off the tee, I played the par 5's at E.

The sand in the bunkers was in great shape and allowed you to splash out with no problem. My only complaint about the course design is most of the greens were crowned unfairly. For a seemingly really old course they do a really good job of taking care of it.

Played here on advice of coworker. Very playable and well laid out. Very few blind shots, greens roll true. Pro Shop & Grill Room staff very friendly and accommodating. This is simply a very nice place to go play golf. Great value!!!

Not fancy but extremely great place to play. Staff is so friendly and helpful, merchandise competitively priced, great value at $32/$40 for non seniors. Full recommendation!

This year Tyrone Hills was the first and third course I played into the 2014 Golf Season. The golf course had only been open 3 days after one of the worse winters on record, yet the course was ready for the season. I could have chosen among several courses to play on my way home in the UP, but I wanted to play Tyrone Hills again. Great job, Dennis!
