Fenton Farms Golf Club
About
Fenton Farms Golf Club is a public, 18-hole course that has roots that date back to the 1930s when it and Lake Fenton were known as Long Lake. The course has been known as a variety of names over the years but it has long been a local favorite and referred to by many as "the friendly place." The original barn that belonged to the Crane family, the founders of the original club, was converted into the current clubhouse. The classic design of the golf course is gentle enough for beginners but there are risk-reward opportunities that more advanced players will enjoy. Mature trees line the well manicured fairways and there are water hazards on a few holes.

Best course in Michigan
I would highly recommend giving this course a try. Friendly staff beautiful course. If I lived closer I would play every weekend.
Wow, awesome course
It's been a while since I have played at Fenton farms. Wow, lots of upgrades,, beautiful fairways and tees and greens.
Watch out for some pot bunkers and the sand in the bunkers is amazing to hit out of.
Be prepared for fast and responsive greens.
What a great place to golf.
Home course, great place
I’ve lived by this golf course for a long time and it is a great place to play. Super great people with a good golf course. Greens are a little slow right now but it is the end of the season
BAD FLAGS
The flags on the greens are terrible. They are color coded checkerboard flags and very difficult to discern the color from a distant. Adding insult to injury the flags are only color coded on one side! How dumb can you get. Go to solid color red, white and blue on both sides please.
Great place. Awesome staff. Delicious food.
July 14th we had our first golf outing for our organization - A Hero's Legacy The Joe Johnson Foundation. Working with Chris was the best experience. Everything was well thought out, his advice was right on, and the outing was a great success! We had nothing but positive feedback and people are already making plans to attend next year's outing. Thank you Chris and the entire staff for making this day one we will always remember! Dennis & Teri Johnson
A hidden gem, for the price!
I don't know how they do it, but they always keep this course in great shape, even with a lot of play. Green, lush fairways and superb greens.
I play out here every year for my church scramble and they really take care of you.
The course isn't too long, but you have to be accurate if you are playing the back tees. If you can work the ball different directions, that would definitely help!
You really can't go wrong playing here! I know they have a $20 senior deal during the week, and that price cannot be beat!
Phenomenal
Course was in great condition, even on October 30th. The greens were rolling fast and true, and I played 18 in 2 hours. A wonderful experience all around!
First time
Course is in very good shape, greens are good and staff is very welcoming
The pace of play was really slow but it was a holiday
Course in great shape
Forgiving fun course for a rec player. Cost a little high for 9 and a cart. But it was a holiday weekend. Would recommend and will play again
Great experience
Great time. Walked in the door and the attendant hand the golf cart key ready to go. Used golfnow.com to book. All I had to do was sign and grab key and head to the T box. Also the club provided free water throughout the course on the hot day. Thank you.
Great Value for golf
Well maintained course with just enough challenges to make it interesting. The par 3s are a little long for the average hitter. (#13 - need to 160 yard carry or you will lose a ball)
Bad Day
Our tee time was following an outing of non golfers. It took us two and a half hours to play five holes, the last one we played was no. 9 which we noticed was empty and played it in or the number played would have been four. When I booked the time I did not know about the outing. If I had, I would not have booked. Total waste of a beautiful day.
Decent track, pace of play too slow
Too many 2'somes teeing off before noon. Not sure why they don't pair people up but they are to laissez-faire about letting people play in 2'somes, which slows down pace of play tremendously! Other than that, not a bad track for the money.
nicr greens
course was very slow do to golfouting.should have spread tee times better or controled pace of play better
Good coarse
could use a starter just a log pile at the tee. pace was a bit slow but saturday morning can be slow
Great value for the money
Great value for the money. However the greens needed mowing, and there was some some fairway grass damage ( probably from winter ) . Layout great .
