Great for beginners or working your irons
This course is by no means challenging but it does have a certain charm, you don’t come here for a PGA tour level challenge, you come to walk a course after work. It excels at keeping a good pace with its easy layout and policy of requiring golfers to be over the age of 10. You really do get an insane value for money here.
Important to note for golfers with a big driver carry, you can still safely drive on two of the holes, I think that’s awesome for a par 3 course on farmland.
You can go back for a second round and it only costs you $10! Great course and friendly staff, I don’t know what those other reviews could have experienced but everyone is nice, just don’t be a fool and ruin pace, like any other golf course..
Great Little Course
While I've been golfing for only 2 1/2 years now, I am a true addict of the game thanks in part to this course. This is a great course to cut your teeth on if you're a beginner like myself or if you're a veteran golfer looking to test your short and mid-iron accuracy. I've played here quite a few times and the course is well-maintained. Greens are true and usually play at a moderate speed and fairways are typically in good condition. While this a short, no-frills par 29, 9-hole course with no real clubhouse or amenities, the staff is always friendly and your fellow golfers on the course are good peoples. Great choice if you're looking for a quick round on a well-kept course.
Great little course
Short course with very nice greens. Not much to the place but perfect for new players or people looking for a quick round. Great for advanced players looking to hone in wedge game under 150. Just because it's short does not mean an easy course by any means. Greens are quick and the breaks are subtle. For 15 bucks it's the best wedge and putter practice around
Awful
This golf course is perfect.... for someone who just found their dads 20 year old Incomplete set of clubs and are playing for the first time. The staff was rude and unaccomadating, the fairways were very patchy, the putting greens were very dried out and had long grass that made them very difficult to play. Not to mention 7 out of 9 holes were under 150 yards. Overall the course was awful and it was hard to enjoy playing on it. However you do get ecactly what you pay for.
A fine Par3
Course description states 'accompanied by member'. I'm not sure what this means, this is a fully public course.
For an affordable executive course, it is quite fine. A great place to work on your short game. It also has 2 par 4 holes where you can take out that driver and longer clubs. It really gets you to concentrate on ball striking and shot placement, rather than swinging for the fences. Hurricane Sandy gave this course a pounding, but it has since been completely rebuilt and in pretty good shape.
