Nine Hole Par 3 at Smithtown Landing Golf Club

They were watering the greens all day long and didn't move as we were hitting on them. Multiple times we hit the hose because the watering guy was oblivious. We informed staff telling them we understand that the greens had to be watered because it was 100 degrees. We said can't he just move while we are hitting up staff was rude and could care less.

Everyone in my foursome struggled on the greens. We are amateurs and deserve for the money amateur pin placements. Tuesday’s placements made it difficult to enjoy the round.

I thoroughly enjoyed my golf experience at Smithtown Landing and I look forward to my return trip. The cart girl, a soccer player at Molloy College, was very nice.

The course was in excellent condition. The staff was great. Pace was a little slow for a weekday, but not terrible. The beer after the round was cold and refreshing.

Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all country club condition. Even the rough was overall in good condition-maybe a few spots here and there. The bunkers and bunker edges could use some work. Some of the green surrounds were rough but better than years past. The hardest part here is still pace of play. 4:40 on a good day. Largely due to set up of the first few holes on each 9. Short par four followed by a par 3. And then on the front the third hole is also a short par 4. So you just get off tona slow start and stay that way. Halfway house was well stocked and beer cart came around multiple times during round. I would go back, but look for times when it may play quicker

Lots of up and down. Greens were hard to hold , overall a fun course to play!
