I recently had occasion to spend a couple nights at Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge. The golf course is plenty famous in its own right, but in my opinion it kind of overshadows the Lodge, which is one of my favorite places to stay in golf. With just 70 rooms, it has a cozy, boutique charm. The common areas are excellent, with Arnold Palmer memorabilia at every turn, but it's all presented with restraint and never feels kitschy.
I have always found the accommodations ideal, too: comfortable but not fussy or over-the-top. Lodge rooms satisfy the three top criteria I have for hotel rooms: the beds are comfortable, the air conditioning delivers a good chill and the water pressure in the shower is strong.
And then there are the toiletries. Not only does the Lodge supply oversized bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, all those items are branded with that indelible signature and tri-color umbrella. That they smell nice is almost beside the point. Don't they look like they're just begging to fall into your suitcase before you check out?
We stayed at your hotel twice and love Eucalyptus products especially the body lotion.
Is there any way we can purchase some?
