Kinda Worth The Car Trip From Suffolk/Hampton Roads
Rundown little old golf course with excellent greens. Fairways and the rest of the course needs work but the aesthetics of the fairways and rough tee boxes isn’t so bad that it’s a complete turn off and with great greens it makes for a great affordable option for golf on a weekday where the course will be completely vacant besides a men’s golf group that only takes over a few holes. The layout of the golf course is flat, wide open, easy going and functional. I want to note that on the courses website and golf now that it says that the course only goes out to 6,350 yards or something like that for a course rating of 70.0 or around there (from blue teens). When I played the course I played the black tees which is further back from the blues. Not listed on score card though needs to be updated. Although it might be functional through GHIN handicap for black tees. I would guesstimate that the blacks are 6,500 yards for a course rating of maybe 71.00 or something like that. At any rate, good solid rating for a value golf course. Definitely worth checking out once.
Nice course my wife and I played 18 holes. We are by no means slow players and we had foursomes jumping in front of us when there was no one behind us. Other than that it's a really nice course

Great little course hidden away in the country ! Well worth the drive and the price to play ! They also have a great pro shop with lots of cold drinks and freshly made hotdogs etc . I’ll be going back for sure !
Almost worth the bargain.
I played this course over Fourth of July weekend on a hot deal for less than $20. It almost wasn’t worth it. The layout is uninspired. There is little to no grass on the fairways and there is no drinking water anywhere on the course. I got stuck behind a five some as a single on the front. They never looked back to see me waiting. Was able to squeeze past them on the turn to make the pace of play more bearable.
I would not return there.
Nice course
Course was very nice for the price. Not a super hard course but a good course to play. Fairways were a little rough in spots from the drought but other than that great course will be going back.
Nice course
Absolutely amazing friendly people greens are very good view bare spots and some fairways but for the most part I had solid ground hit off of Very nice course highly recommended for a laid-back time at a good golf course
Sunday morning in the Pines
The fairways were in really good shape today, greens were darn near perfect. I really enjoy this course and the layout. The greens at valley pines are extremely tricky to play, you’re approach shot is very important here because these greens can be lightning fast at times. Get the ball close to the cup and you should be ok. Overall I’d say this is an excellent course for the price.
Golfing in the Pines
This course was in really good shape. The greens are some of the best I’ve played, they are however very challenging at times, ball placement is very important on these greens so take time on your approach shots. I played the front alone and joyed up with a couple of other guys for the back nine. All in all it was a great day of golf, I will definitely return in the future for another round.
Decent course, fairly well maintained. Kinda muddy today with all the wet weather. This course is much better when it's dried out.
Don't use apps to book this course though, just call. I found out today that my reservation wasn't even logged. This is a smaller operation that hasn't gotten high tech yet.
Good times at the pines
Course layout was really nice, greens were in excellent shape. There had been a lot of rain the night before so course was very wet but still was fun. We’re planning another trip to this course when conditions are dryer. Overall this is a fun course to play.
Valley pine review
I like this course well enough, but I'll never be back. There's no driving range and no opportunity to warm up. playing cold sucks.
Golf Rwview
Course was in good shape. Play was slow due to the Weekend.
oddities of 1969 corvette
This is a very groomed course but only 9 holes. I did enjoy playing this course and have played it a few times. The greens are very good condition and fare ways are well kept also. I will go back to play here again.
Buy some water in the pro shop or bring some!!! Playing on a HOT DEAL and won't spend a dime...please don't come back!!!
