Keep the prov1s in the bag
Played this course for the 1st time Two of our foursome dropped out and left my brother and i to play by ourselves. it's a really cool track with an unusual layout. The rolling fairways and blind landing areas make it tough to find your balls if you are not familiar with the course. After teaming up with another twosome on the back nine ( who had knowledge of the course ) we had better fortune locating our shots and scoring. Overall an enjoyable afternoon and will play this course again.
Hard greens
The course was great to play and the greens were difficult and challenging.
Great public course
Johnny Goodman is a great public course. With all of the rain this summer it is in great shape. The greens rolled true and are fairly challenging. The only complaints I have are the quality of the cart paths, they are in pretty bad shape.
First time playing and the greens were excellent. Hole 16 is a dogleg over apartments, only complaint. All par 3s are over water. Would play again
Pace of play
Pace of play is always horrible at this course. Would love to golf it more but over 5 hours for a round of golf is ridiculous. Only 2 of us golfing should be done under 4 hours.

Course was in excellent condition and the pace of play was quite quick. Very pleasant experience. Will play here again soon.
The greens were the fastest and most difficult I’ve played this season. With how bad the weather has been, the course looked well maintained.
Decent course
The course was pretty nice to play, but the staff was terrible!
When we checked in the guy at the front was very rude and the lady running the concessions was even worse I couldn’t believe it. Wish it would of been better.
