Course was great
The course was great, my playing was another matter entirely! The course is really nice. I feared due to location and cost it would be a small burned out par three course, it definitely was not! I will play here again, after my mental scars heal.

Poor Pace of Play
The pace of play for nine holes was absolutely horrendous! It took over 2.5 hours for one person to play nine holes. There was no ranger on the course making sure players were keeping up with the USGA pace of play rules. Every course should have a Ranger on the course enforcing pace of play rules. There was a foursome of old men in front of me who refused to let me play through. While the price was very good the time I spent waiting between holes was not worth it. I will go somewhere else if this is going to be the new standard at this course.

been about 5 yrs looks the same tight with a lot of trees and dog legs pretty good shape
J E Good Golf Course
The venerable old Good Park. It’s been around since the early 20th century and it’s showing its age. To my understanding this course gets a high amount of rounds per year and that’s evident in the conditions. As advertised it has a plethora of old growth trees and narrow fairways. It is forgiving of the errant shot in spite of tree lined fairways. To be fair the fairways were in decent shape and the front nine rough was respectable. Most of the greens were well manicured. A few had bald spots with no grass at all. Unfortunately the back nine rough was bordering on cow pasture territory. Very little actual grass with a lot of dry hard barren ground. The rough that was there was clover and crab-grass. It was certainly a good value at 22.00 for 18 and a cart so my expectations were tempered. Will I play here again? Sure. Just set your expectations accordingly.

Disappointing
It’s been years since I played Good Park And while the layout is still challenging and very well designed condition of the course was disappointing.
Drought conditions No doubt contributed to many bare spots on the greens And the hardness of fairways and boxes.
A better irrigation system would a good choice for improvements

Great course
Greens roll true. Sand traps are excellent. Fairways great condition
Lots of trees and dog legs. A must play!
Course is in good shape!
We played on a holiday which means it was busy. It decided to rain on hole 8 and 9 but the back nine played well even after the rain.
First Hole in 1
Always been happy with Good Park. Great service for concessions. Hit my first Ace on hole 9. 192 out. Buying drinks didn’t break the bank.
