Golfer Reviews
Nice course, but didn’t honor price
The course was nice. The greens ran well. Rough was thick, but the course played well. The issue was the group in front of us and myself both booked through GolfNow for $24 a person which the Course refused to honor because of the holiday. When we talked about this was the price that Golf now charged us they frankly said they didn’t care it was a holiday. So I would’ve liked to see them charge holiday rates on the app versus showing $24 for 18 holes on a Monday but really when you get there it’s $40. It felt like a bait and switch.
Wide Open
Nice layout that has large fairways and greens! Pace of play was normal for a Saturday late morning. Great value as 18 holes and a cart was right around $30. Hole #15 was a great time, 130 yard par 3 that has you elevated so it’s playing about 105/110 over a water fountain. Course was very wet from the storms the previous nights, but greens were in great shape. Very fun course that allows you to make some mistakes without being penalized. Only drawback was the 45 minute drive there and back. Hopefully all the golfers in Ashtabula county take advantage of this nice layout with amazing friendly workers! Highly recommend.
Short and Wide Open
I enjoyed this 18 hole course with my son on a a Saturday morning. Price was amazing for 18 holes and a cart. It rained really heavy the night before which caused several puddles and soft grass. Pace of play was above average but completely normal for a Saturday late morning tee time. We played the white tees and personally enjoyed being rewarded with being able to hit a wedge into the green if you hit a good drive. The layout was fun, I used every club in the bag. Personally I loved hole 15 a short par 3 that plays about 100/105 yards because you’re so elevated. Greens were in good condition and were above average speed. I would highly recommend this course for any average or above average golfers. Great value and enjoyable round. I would golf here more often if it wasn’t a 45 minute drive. Hopefully every golfer in Ashtabula county takes advantage of a great short and fun golf course. The people working were very kind and knowledgeable and made sure we got out a little early. Very kind and worth a visit to see them out in Austinburg.
Nice layout backside a bit hilly
Nice course to play when I don’t have time it’s nearby people who run it or nice and they seem to appreciate your business

Course was in good shape. The sandtraps needed some attention but the fairways and greens were fine.
Nice staff, poor conditions
Cart paths are non-existent or in such terrible shape it’s impossible to use them. The rough on 10 had so many mushrooms growing that you couldn’t tell whether it was a ball or a fungus.

A wonderful gem of a course. My wife and I had a great day.
Great Value
I’ve played here many of times and this is probably the nicest it’s ever been. Greens were in very nice shape, fairways were good. Bunkers have been notorious for being in bad shape, but they were filling them in with fresh sand and the one I played out of that was already done was in good shape. Very impressed with current conditions.
Great course great staff
This course is amazing. The staff here has always made me and my friends feel like family. They take care of their course well and it’s always a good time when we go. We will be going again and again.
