Madison Country Club
About
Opened in 1923, Madison Country Club is one of the oldest courses in the area. It has a traditional design that measures to a modest 6,145 yards from the back tees. The golf course may be short by modern standards but this member-owned course has been a local favorite since it first opened. The classic layout has wide, player-friendly fairways that offer plenty of room and the terrain is mostly flat, making it a good golf course to walk. There are a few mature trees scattered throughout and you'll also come across some strategically placed bunkers as well. Madison Country Club is ideal for beginners but it's also a great round of practice for more advanced players. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range and short-game area at the club.

Nice layout
Madison CC is a traditional design golf course with a lot of trees, relatively narrow and bankers in front of the greens.
I like the layout. The price is fair. Stuff is friendly.
Cons:
- bankers have no sand,
- cart paths have many potholes,
- driving range is in a very poor condition.
- small bucket of balls is $8
Madison CC
Great layout! A couple of reachable par 4&5.
Course in good shape considering the rain we had.
Staff was friendly. Pace of play was a little slow.
Great shape
Coming from California I was excited to play some green courses. Madison has a nice layout, reasonable fairway width for a mid handicap, and medium/fast greens. From the blues, it was a little long for me with a few 200 yard approach shots but I got paired with a guy who played well and was much younger and hit it pretty long. Turned out to be a real fun round. The weather threat never materialized so just muggy warm. I’d definitely play again. It’s a bargain compared to the weather coast.

Course was is great condition! Pace of play was good. I will play this course again!
Perfect afternoon in 44057
Great layout, and great day! It was a little busy but once out on the course we had very little waiting. Was paired with two strangers which were nice to meet and they both played very well. Course was in good shape, with some fast greens that were in good shape. A couple tee boxes were beat up a little but that is easy to expect at 2:00 on a Friday. A little construction going on around the clubhouse and the turn but nothing that will interfere with your round. Course can seem narrow sometimes and you are rewarded for going straight… imagine that!
Very Nice Course
Great layout. Greens are in very nice condition. Friendly staff. Great burgers and dogs off the grill. Pace of play was about 5 hours on a Friday afternoon. Probably because the weather was so nice. I look forward to playing again.
Great value
Course was in great shape. Greens are true and fast, rest of course was in great shape. This is an older classic style of course, but still plenty challenging. This is one of the better values in the area.
Sunday morning
Normal expected crowd for a Sunday morning, I got out right at the scheduled tee time. Took just under 5 hours to play 18. (4:45) course was in good condition, greens were really fast, and hole placement was easy, and appreciated! I would recommend this course to anyone who is comfortable paying $50 for a round on a Sunday. I usually avoid sundays, because of crowds and extra cost. However this was worth it very nice layout and it was in great shape. Get there early and take advantage of the putting greens.
There is potential.
This course definitely has potential to be a hidden gem once proper course conditions are restored. For now, largely just a good value if you go in with the right expectations. This is a very narrow track with most holes being tree-lined. Some of the greens are a little burnt out around the edges but otherwise roll well. The fairways and tee boxes are in decent shape, just cut a little long (which is understandable given the time of year). The bunkers are basically ground under repair. Sand seemingly has not been replaced in a long time and there are no rakes around to even attempt to manicure them if you wanted to. Pro shop and snack bar are nothing to write home about but they do have some small town charm. This place has potential if given the right TLC but I’d still come back just for the interesting layout.

Pleasant surprise; only about 30-35 minutes away from Cleveland. Great rate for 18 holes; pace very good and some challenging holes.
Will return!
Madison Country Club
Course is always in good shape. We had a great day. It was busy so the pace of play was slower than usual.
