Hickory Grove Golf Course

This is an excellent little course, the fairways need work but the greens are challenging and in perfect condition as is the overall layout. There are a number of bigger name courses in the area but thats just what i like this is a great hidden Gem hope it stays that way.

Great course for the Money tight fairways , the course was mowed great. The greens were lightning fast . Even if you shot the ball in the woods everything was mowed to where you were able to find your ball and maybe put it back in to play.. there were a lot of doglegs,, and Odd shape green, I would go back and play this course again .

The course was in pretty bad shape. But in their defense we did get 3 in of rain two days before. Greens were excellent and pace of play was second to none. I’ll be back

This course is extremely close to my house so it's always a go to place. The course is in pretty good shape, other than a few hiccups (large puddles) in a few fairways. Convenience plays a decent role in me playing here, but I always have fun and will keep coming back!

This course is flat lay out. Long drives needed. Greens are unique. Long for me. Staff, Greg was excellent.

Three of us played and all agreed that we would love to come back. The course is not difficult, and was surprisingly dry considering how early it was in the season. The folks in the clubhouse really make it though. We were treated excellently as soon as we walked through the door, and throughout our whole day. Even the patrons in the clubhouse were fun and inviting.

Always enjoy this course. Pace and course conditions are always very good.

Nice little course to play. Was in good condition. Not overly difficult, but a few challenges. Course was well laid out and staff was excellent and friendly. For the price, had a great time overall...!

Always enjoy playing this course. Has some great risk/reward holes. Well worth the drive!

The course is laid out nicely, but the conditions weren't that good. The rough was long, the fairways were shaggy, and the greens were bumpy and pock-marked. It's a nice looking course with mature trees, but plenty of open space.

The crew is working hard to get the course into decent shape. The greens are in really good condition. The tee boxes and fairways need some work..some rain will help alot. Course is worth the drive!

I played this course several times last year with 2-3 friends. The Golf Now Hot Deal rates have increased 40% from last year and the tee times are not until around noon instead of 9 am last year. I will play alot of other nicer courses near me for less and I won't have to drive the 40 miles one-way.

Played this course regularly 5 years ago and it has changed a lot. It was always in good condition but now the tee boxes where in terrible condition, fairways were average, greens needed to be cut and rolled but not in too bad condition. The thing that hasn't changed is the unfriendly pro who signed us in. He acted mad because we used teetimes.com and got a cheaper price! Would pay more to play nicer course elsewhere!!

The onlyI liked about this course was the speedy pace and the challenging greens. The greens are the only thing taken care of. Tee boxes are horribly hard. Fairways are weedy. But the greens are great. Also, it has way too many doglegs. If you live around the corner from there, sure, go play it. But not worth the hour drive that I took.

First time playing at Hickory Grove Golf Course.... Was a very nice course to play and will play there again!

Course has a nice mix of easy and moderately difficult holes. Pace of play was excellent which I like because many courses in this area do not have active rangers to keep the round to a reasonable time.

This is a very nice hidden gem. Great country side course. This is a great course for beginners and experienced players alike. It has it's challenges but is also very forgiving.

The greens were in better condition than have been in the past. Other than that the course is average at best. The best part was the rate we paid from Golf Now,

There was an outing that day and the pace of play was outstanding. Course was in good condition. The bugs and horseflies were the only problem I had the entire day.
