Wrote this place off years ago after some horrible conditions. Played today after hearing they have made some improvements. I can say it's now worth playing again!! Greens were some of the best I have played all year, all new sand, great fairways and nice level tee boxes. Other than some of the most bumpy cartpaths I have ever been on I strongly recommend beaver brook.
Excellent course in great shape. Look forward to playing here again.
Fast greens and good layout. Pace of play was excellent and I will be back to challenge this course again.
Beautiful scenery. Stunning views on most fairways. Course is well maintained and in great shape for so late in season. Most of the course is technical and challenging enough for an interesting and engaging play. Absolutely a keeper
Tricky Tricky Tricky
The course is interesting. Many tight fairways especially on the front nine. Staff was great helped us join friends who booked a twosome a group behind us. The pins were in tough to impossible spots. Several pins were cut in spots which at best challenging at worst unfair and inaccessible. The ninth hole was a classic example in that the pin was near the back right corner of the green. I was on the green green 15 feet short. From there I proceeded to knock it back and forth repeatedly as a putt from short of the hole was next to impossible as it would pick up speed just short of the hole and role 10 feet past. On the next hole the pin was set beyond a false front, shots short of the hole made a u-turn and rolled back off the front. In all the course is in great shape, staff was great and it is a good challenge
Played here for years and appreciating the result of recent investments made. For late October the course was in very good shape. Fairways excellent and greens quick even though today was cooler and damp. The grill was not open however, although there was a function upstairs so perhaps staff were assigned to that larger event. If you’ve not played BB before now is a good time to go. The foliage and views are outstanding by the way.
I was so impressed with the renovation of this wonderful golf course. Had not played it in a while, FOLKS common down and play this track.
Really fun to play, just very relaxing with just enough challenging pin placements. This is how the game of golf should be for us mortal people that are not on PGA or LPGA.
Am telling my friends from NYC to come here, very convenient location….
Thank you to the BEAVER BROOK staff . GREAT JOB you guys doing in maintaining this beautiful course.
This was my first time playing Beaver Brook and I couldn't have been more pleased! The venue was beautiful and the layout was a little challenging foe the first timer. The bar and grill closes at 4pm which is sub-optimal but all it all it was a beautiful, clean course!
Great course in excellent condition
Not many flat fairways, so ball placement on your tee shots is important.
Nice place. Would go back for sure
Great value for the money. The only hiccup was that an outing was scheduled, but no one knew so they accommodated them by slipping them in between times and shotgun style. This led to a bit of crowding so the round took longer than anticipated. The course is in great shape and I really enjoyed the layout. Most of the amenities were closed and no food was available, im assuming due to COVID. Would like to go back, and was worth the drive from the Philly area.
Played between the rain events
Great fun playing yesterday. Pace of play was slightly behind but moving. There was always someone on the tee ,middle and green. The greens had many ball marks that were not fixed.
