Beaver Brook Country Club

Course is a little run down. Pace of play was terrible. Front nine was 2:15. back nine was 2:45. Other than around/on the green, I had to wait to rake every shot. "Ambassador's" on course were useless.

I took my regular foursome to play this course for the first time, and I had seen mixed reviews online. With that said everyone in my group thought it was a very enjoyable course and that they want to come back and play In the near future. We have a mixed group of ability, but all enjoyed the round not finding it too hard or too easy. Staff were very friendly, and the food and service on 19th were also spot on.

I had a rough start to the day when the bag attendant dumped my bag on his way from the parking lot to the pro shop. He skuffed up my putter cover, chipped my putter (brand new this season) and skuffed my 56 wedge. He did not mention this to me, just put the bag on the cart I would be using without any apology. The course was decent at best. Greens were fine, but not much character to the course. Forget the bunkers. Not a single grain of sand. All clay and rocks (big rocks). Many of the tee boxes were uneven. The carts were awful. My cart had nearly no brakes. I spent the whole round with my foot on the brake in fear of something bad happening. I mentioned the brakes to the marshall who scoffed and mentioned his were not much better. By the 4th hole we came across an abandoned cart (ran out of gas on a Saturday morning???).

Overall disappointed and will not return. Over priced and lacking every aspect you would associate with a country club.

The course was challenging but the overall conditions of the whole property was poor. No sand in the bunkers. Mostly gravel and rocks made it almost impossible to hit a sand shot. Renovations was greatly needed on cart paths and a few of the holes.

Enjoyed the golf. Back 9 has come interesting challenging holes that require shot making.

Course in great shape.

My friend and I were partnered with 2 other gentlemen. For most of the holes we were waiting for the group in front of us. Honestly, we didn't mind. Around the 14th hole the Rangers started harassing us to pick up our pace when we were at pace even though we were held back in previous holes. They had a bad attitude from there on! Not once they apologized. When we got hole 17 again we had to wait 10 minutes to tee. I hate playing under that kind of pressure, specially when none of it was our fault.

I booked the teetime from GolfNow and I was satisfied with the whole experience. The course was enjoyable. I would play here again in the future. Greens were somewhat inconsistent. Some were fast and some were rather slow. Pretty wide open for the most part but some holes tight.

Played during a weekday. Great value for a somewhat narrow course that is in excellent condition.

Lots of ups and downs but not too many blind shots.

Will definitely be back.

Had a very good round on this course. Members were very welcoming and the course itself has some fun and challenging holes and some terrific views.

The course is very challenging, especially at putting.

The layout is nice. a challenge to the average golfer. A fun challenge to the intermediate. It has open areas for wayward drives to come back in play. Greens are onjulated but mid speed for me. Fairways and rough decent given the drought we have had so far this season.

Prepaid for the 2 tee times for a great value. Facilities looked great. We were able to tee up in time. Course looked great. However, it all ends there. Course is very hilly which added to the difficulty. Fairway was either in good condition or in poor condition with very hard ground. Bunkers were in very poor condition with not enough sand and very compacted. Tee boxes were uneven. Greens were in good condition but not fast. Pace was slow. Must have been due to the heat and hot weather.

This a great course to play on your own or with friends. Some holes are very challenging and others are simple. Guess it all balances out in the end. Greens were in great condition. Definitely going back again soon

Can't beat this course for the price. Several challenging but fair holes. The fairways were okay but too many tight lies. The greens are on the large size and relatively flat, but in nice condition. The only part of the course that really needs work are the traps - very little sand and too many stones. I traveled over an hour to get to the course, and overall it was worth the trip. I will play it again.

I had accidentally chosen the wrong date while making the reservation. A staff member called me b/c I missed the tee time and at no cost, he made the reservation for the next day,.

The greens and overall, the entire course was in excellent shape.

Would definitely play again.

my husband and I played 18 holes here, the staff was wonderful very friendly and efficient , the course was very nice and kept up well. only complaint was the carts could be nice and there were no bathrooms on the course except the pro shop.
my husband and I both agreed we would travel the distance to play there again

The course was in great condition and very challenging. The staff and the ranges were very friendly. My only issues was pace of play. This is the longest round of golf I ever played. We waited on every single tee box and on every approach shot.

If you are ok with investing 5 plus hours, this is an amazing course. I would come back if I have the time.

I played this course with my son after not having played here in about 12 years. Course was mostly as I remembered it. Lots of elevation changes throughout most of the course. Some more dramatic than others. The course starts and ends with back to back opening and closing par 5's. greens rolled pretty good for early May. Fairways and tee boxes were in pretty good shape. The rough was a bit sparse and the bunkers have not been touched in a long time. I'm not sure what the maintenance crew is doing but raking the bunkers each day is certainly not part of their daily routine. It looks as if they have not been touched all season. I would've given this course another star if the bunkers were maintained. The round took 4 1/2 hours which isn't horrible for an early Sunday afternoon tee time. We waited on most shots but again, it was Sunday pm. It was a little annoying to have the kid from the pro shop come by and tell us to keep pace with the group in front of us after waiting 5 minutes to hit on a par three and a similar amount of time on the next hole. He said a twosome called in to complain about the pace of play. Note to twosome... Find two friends!!!!

Tip when checking in inquire about the restaurant special. You can order most items off the menu and get two drinks (beer wine well drink) for an additional $10. One of the two guys we were paired with took advantage before the round. Said it was agreed deal

Course is in very good condition, some greens need a little work. Fairways and rough were great. Play was a little slow, 5 hour round, ranger said they tossed 3 groups for slow play and play did pick up but it was to late at that point. The only down side is that you have to carry your bag down a flight of stairs unless you go down to get a cart and drive up to get them.

Overall course okay but traps were terrible. Looks like lots of maintenance in progress or is it?
