Harbor Pines Golf Club
About
The Harbor Pines Golf Club is a public facility that boasts an 18-hole, four-star golf course with subtle, breaking greens that provide a challenge for all golfers. The holes are very private and the fairways are wide and open.
The environment friendly course is a local favorite and is considered among women to be one of the best courses for women to play on. The beautiful natural landscape with seventeen acres of water and 520 acres of forestry has even been certified as an National Audubon Sanctuary. The relatively flat course does offer challenges for experienced golfers but it will not be too difficult for intermediate or beginning golfers. Both the 16th and 17th holes are difficult par-4's and the course has various hazards scattered throughout.

Greens were good fairways were soggy. It had rain the night before.
Overall, really nice course unfortunately it had rained heavy the night before greens were in good condition. Pace of play was good overall good for winter conditions. The only thing I was disappointed in fairways were real soggy
Winter conditions
Greens are the worst they have been all year by a long shot didn’t come back correctly after the last punch. Sand is very firm and haven't been raked in a while besides that the course is still one of the better public’s in the area but they are usually known for their nice greens and this weekend they were far from that.
Chilly and windy but great course.
Excellent deal on Tee Off Harbor pines was great as always.
Knocker
Bit disappointing, came from Cherry Hill and had to play front 9 twice. Was looking forward to play # 12. Drivable par 4
Aerating golf course
Was not told beforehand they were aerating the entire front 9. nothing on their website or on golfnow description like most top courses would inform their players before buying a round. Had to play back 9 twice. First time through the back 9 was not bad. 3-4 Holes had loads of leaves especially 18. All over green and all over fairway, made it impossible to putt. Took about 1 1/2 hours. Second time through we were told there was a 10 minute wait on the tee time. This was probably a little longer but after the 10th hole, it was unplayable. Waiting 20 mins+ just to hit a tee shot. By that time you’re out of rhythm and everything. Ended up leaving on hole 13. Started our second back 9 at 11:20. And left after hole 13 at 12:50… it’s absurd to play 4 holes over 80 mins..Love the course and layout after the first time playing all 18 holes but this second time around was an awful playing experience. It would be nice to inform people about the aeration especially online.
Beautifully kept course
This is a top notch golf course. Greens were fastest I have seen. Workers were working all of the holes around us. Blowing off leaves from the green. While ourselves fairways my be hard from drought, their course was soft because they must have sprinklers everywhere. Not the hardest. Certainly beautiful. Tall trees line the course, so there was a good amount of shade.
