Atlantic City Country Club

About
When the Atlantic City Country Club Golf Course opened its doors to all daily-fee golfers, it immediately became a popular choice and it is considered to be one of the best courses in New Jersey. Golf Week Magazine even named it the #1 Public/Daily-Fee Golf Course in New Jersey. This famous golf course is where the term "birdie" is said to have been invented and where high-profile players like Arnold Palmer are said to frequent. This 18-hole course has a challenging layout and a picturesque coastal view with beautiful fairways. The greens are undulating and fast. The course also features challenging par-4s on the 14th and 18th holes. With several hazards on each including large fairway bunkers, both holes require great precision.

Top 5 course in NJ
Hands down one of my favorites. Conditions were immaculate and always worth the money. Plan to club up with wind gusts.
Top Tri-State Pick
Well worth the trip-excellent staff beautiful views. Will reserve again.
A gem - pebble beach of new jersey
$195 including cart and unlimited range balls to play a Saturday late morning in September. Views of bay/ac skyline and fescue/bunkers everywhere, especially on back 9. Bring some extra balls, memorable holes were the 595 yard par 5 into the wind on the front, and just about every par 3 on the course. The history behind this place and clubhouse are worth a tour. The food was delicious and amazing at the pub after. Will worth the $$$ and I will be back on my next trip to Atlantic City.
Great course but slow pace of play.
Had 1:40 tee time on a weekday. Got a great deal on Golfnow. Had to wait on a foursome ahead of us after #4 till end of the round. Good thing the course is so scenic that I was able to appreciate the layout of the gorgeous course. Fast greens paired with afternoon wind made it a fun and challenging course.
Great Views / Worth the Money
There aren't many courses that are truly worth paying more than $100 for. This is one of them. The afternoon rate of $125 is worth every penny. The course is in good shape and has great views.
Overpriced
Good layout but course conditions were not great. I understand if COVID impacts conditions but when you charge high prices, expectations will be high.
December golf
DECEMBER IN NEW JERSEY YOU NEVER KNOW CONDITIONS GREAT VERY SOFT FAIRWAYS FAST GREENS SUPER FUN ALOT OF WIND BRINGS ANOTHER CHALLENGE GREAT DAY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Very good course.
Very good course. Aerated greens but rolled. Cart path needs reconditioning
Amazing course will play again
This facility and course were great all around. From the moment you step into the clubhouse you see all the history of the course and the staff were top notch. Course was in great condition and the layout was nice. Greens were fast and not as much break as you think. My only complaint is with the people I was paired with. I was a single and paired with a duo. We had to wait for a minute at hole 8 to teeoff because of the foursome ahead of us and the older man lost his mind. They left me at that hole didn’t say a word and I finished and teed off at the 9th. Walking back to the cart I see them with the marshall and I’m being told we are going to the 14th. So now I have to play this great course out of sync. This threw me off for the rest of the day. Guy had a conference call at 7pm he said. Well how about don’t book a 2pm tee time then. I’m definitely gonna play here again just hope I get better playing partners.
Great course, little pricey
Beautiful layout and great views, lots of challenging long par 4s to test every golfer. Is this a $200 value? No, but it’s really nice. Early tee time and we played 18 holes in 3:10, walking. Fun pace.
