About
The Harbor Pines Golf Club is a public facility that boasts an 18-hole, four-star golf course with subtle, breaking greens that provide a challenge for all golfers. The holes are very private and the fairways are wide and open.
The environment friendly course is a local favorite and is considered among women to be one of the best courses for women to play on. The beautiful natural landscape with seventeen acres of water and 520 acres of forestry has even been certified as an National Audubon Sanctuary. The relatively flat course does offer challenges for experienced golfers but it will not be too difficult for intermediate or beginning golfers. Both the 16th and 17th holes are difficult par-4's and the course has various hazards scattered throughout.

Good course; Great Greens
I’m vacationing from Chicago for the 25th year in a row. We always play several of the courses surrounding Egg Harbor Township. We played Harbor Pines at 3:00 on the 4th of July. 1 group in front, and 1 behind. Played in less than 2 hours for the nine holes. Course was in great shape. Greens and bunkers are some of the best in the area. Very quick but hold well. Staff were all professional, welcoming and helpful.
Couple of negatives: the driving range was closed, couldn’t hit balls before the round, I’m old and need more warm up time.
Price is also a concern. Over $100 a round for these courses is the current going rate but nowhere near the quality and detail to $40 to $75 courses in other parts of the country.
All in all, Harbor Pines does a good job of running a quality business and I recommend the course as one of the best near the OC shore.

Public course with private club amenities ! Accessible tee boxes Beautiful fairways, Challenging bunkers and flawless greens! Truly a challenging course but playable for the average golfer who can stay out of trouble! Loved it!
Fun tough course
Had a great time playing the course. Probably the toughest greens I’ve played so far.
I liked the course condition. It had its spots of course just like every track. To me it just felt that the money I paid wasn’t worth the overall conditions and layout. I can’t think of a hole that really wowed me. Overall the place is nice. Staff was great. Just think the price is a little much.

Harboring Hard Times
Cart Path only after little rain was a joke. Cart refreshment girl was terrible and we didn’t get a chance to get a drink.Sand in fairway bunkers are worse than Allen Greenmans Jump-shot..
Excellent condition.
Pleasant staff, great starter and ranger,, keeps pace of play going.

Course is in great shape. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. They book too many people too often(every 8 minutes). Took us almost 5 hours.to play 18.
