Harbor Pines Golf Club
About
The Harbor Pines Golf Club is a public facility that boasts an 18-hole, four-star golf course with subtle, breaking greens that provide a challenge for all golfers. The holes are very private and the fairways are wide and open.
The environment friendly course is a local favorite and is considered among women to be one of the best courses for women to play on. The beautiful natural landscape with seventeen acres of water and 520 acres of forestry has even been certified as an National Audubon Sanctuary. The relatively flat course does offer challenges for experienced golfers but it will not be too difficult for intermediate or beginning golfers. Both the 16th and 17th holes are difficult par-4's and the course has various hazards scattered throughout.

Early Spring Golf
Green I am told where aerated a month ago. They are stil extremely bumpy and slow with holes that actually deflect good putts, some sand and rolling then cutting would be a start. Doing alot of work on clubhouse and sand traps, adding bright white sand. Fairways &tee boxes are good. Give it 3 weeks and water cut & roll the greens please.
Aeration
Would have liked to know that the whole course was just aerated- tee boxes, fairways and greens. I’ll never play here again
Wet conditions and greens airrated in poor condition
Disappointed in greens conditions as all were sanded only 5-10 feet around flags?
Unable to putt
I played here before and enjoy
Not this time.
Good golf course
Good professional layout and good condition for this time of year
Good coarse
Very good golf coarse professional standards good conditions for this time of year
Great course not so great greens
Always enjoy playing here love the layout. $45 is a bit steep for very bumpy greens that they told us were aerated a month ago. They should’ve at least cut the greens or rolled them to make them more playable
Nice course for this time of year !!
Overall the course was ok and everything else was good. It is what it is for this time of year.
Slow!!
Course in great shape. Staff super friendly. Course very crowded, tough having tee times every 8 minutes. One or two slow groups backs up the whole course. Waiting on every tee box. 5 hour round. Other than pace of play,, very fun course.
Terrific at twisted
Twist it’s always a great fun course always in good shapeAs long as you can stay out of the fescue and the huge gravel pit bunkers … hit them straight you’ll play well
Price problem
I am writing this because I have not played at this course in quite some time. The reason is not the quality of the course or it's availability. It is the price. I am a local resident who, has had memberships at local courses over the years and plays a number of courses in the area throughout the year, other than those in which I am a member, well into the winter. However I do enjoy playing this course, but the price rarely dips below $90. Even in the middle of winter. I look at the available tee times and I see that they are open for the better part of the day. Maybe they would have more people playing this course if they made it more affordable for the local resident who plays multiple times a week. Would you rather have 60% of $90.00 or 0%? The course has always been in great shape and I enjoy playing it. But I do not enjoy it so much that I feel that it is worth $90 in February or September for that matter.
If you are on vacation and want a quality course, then, by all means give this one a try. But, if you are a local resident, there are a group of other comparable courses for justified prices.
