Harbor Pines Golf Club
About
The Harbor Pines Golf Club is a public facility that boasts an 18-hole, four-star golf course with subtle, breaking greens that provide a challenge for all golfers. The holes are very private and the fairways are wide and open.
The environment friendly course is a local favorite and is considered among women to be one of the best courses for women to play on. The beautiful natural landscape with seventeen acres of water and 520 acres of forestry has even been certified as an National Audubon Sanctuary. The relatively flat course does offer challenges for experienced golfers but it will not be too difficult for intermediate or beginning golfers. Both the 16th and 17th holes are difficult par-4's and the course has various hazards scattered throughout.

Nice
The course is in excellent condition and the green are awesome.
Good course, slow pace, staff was not very friendly
We were hoping to get a breakfast sandwich before we started but the Halfway house said she ran out and didn’t have time to make anymore We tees off at 10am. Course was in good shape, pace of play on the front nine was 2 1/2 hours And when we asked the Ranger about the slow play but he lacted like it wasn’t slow at all. I spoke to somebody in the pro shop at the turn and he wasn’t very friendly about me questioning the pace of play and how slow it was on the front nine. The back nine played a little faster but we still waited on most holes. The ranger on the back nine was nowhere to be found after the 10th hole.
Slow, 30 minutes behind tee time
Title. Great course but wow they were so behind and slow groups were not pushed at all.
Friday in the summer
Course is in great shape
Place of play was brutal..5:40…way too long
Playing
I played this course for the first time on Saturday and found it challenging and in great shape. The staff in the pro shop and elsewhere were friendly and easy to talk with. My only complaint, and it's mentioned in other reviews, was the pace of play seemed a bit slow. The bottom line is that I can recommend Harbor Pines and will return at some point since I live full-time about 25 minutes away.
Nice Course
I was put with three other people we all had a good time course is in excellent shape. Pace of play couldn’t have been much better finished The round in under 3 1/2 hours
Course set-up debacle
Half of the holes were set up on slopes or on top of humps, made for a very poor round. On the irst hole the ball rolled up to the hole within an inch and rolled back 12 feet, ridiculous. Overall putting was a
,guessing game all day, ball rolled poorly. Saw the cart girl once, never on the back. Have had good experiences in the past I'l chalk this up to a bad day for the crew..
Monsoon
With all the rain over Memorial Day weekend we tee’d off at 6:30am and only few parts of the course were soaked. Very impressed, considering the mass amount of rain we had leading up to today.
Greens were rolling great, can’t imagine the speed when it’s super dry!
Great course
We had a great time playing Harbor Pines. The course is in excellent shape and challenging and the greens are fast and true. The staff is welcoming and very helpful . If yo7 get a chance play this course.
