About
The Harbor Pines Golf Club is a public facility that boasts an 18-hole, four-star golf course with subtle, breaking greens that provide a challenge for all golfers. The holes are very private and the fairways are wide and open.
The environment friendly course is a local favorite and is considered among women to be one of the best courses for women to play on. The beautiful natural landscape with seventeen acres of water and 520 acres of forestry has even been certified as an National Audubon Sanctuary. The relatively flat course does offer challenges for experienced golfers but it will not be too difficult for intermediate or beginning golfers. Both the 16th and 17th holes are difficult par-4's and the course has various hazards scattered throughout.

Course set-up debacle
Half of the holes were set up on slopes or on top of humps, made for a very poor round. On the irst hole the ball rolled up to the hole within an inch and rolled back 12 feet, ridiculous. Overall putting was a
,guessing game all day, ball rolled poorly. Saw the cart girl once, never on the back. Have had good experiences in the past I'l chalk this up to a bad day for the crew..
Monsoon
With all the rain over Memorial Day weekend we tee’d off at 6:30am and only few parts of the course were soaked. Very impressed, considering the mass amount of rain we had leading up to today.
Greens were rolling great, can’t imagine the speed when it’s super dry!
Great course
We had a great time playing Harbor Pines. The course is in excellent shape and challenging and the greens are fast and true. The staff is welcoming and very helpful . If yo7 get a chance play this course.
Badly Overbooked
3.5 hours only got to the 11th hole. At the 11th hole a 15 minute wait with 2 foursomes waiting ahead of us. Left out of frustration not wanting to play a 6 hour round. It is a nice course though. We were paired up with a member who stated it is always slow play.
Plan for at least a 5 hour round
Course was great. Nice layout, conditions were very good. Pace of play was just ridiculous. 5 1/2 hour round is terrible. The waiting around was the worst. Completely throws your game off. They Had rangers but for some reason couldn’t speed people up. The woman in front of us took 3 “practice swings” aka swing and miss but the ranger laughed it off. He should have told her to pick it up and play best ball. ( and this is coming from another woman here.). Thankfully it was an absolutely beautiful day to play golf.
Course was in great shape. Very fast pace of play. Greens in great shape!
Pace, pace, pace
Shouldn’t be waiting on Par 5’s that’s a sign that the course is backed up. Always 1 or 2 groups that kill the pace!
Pace was a killer
5 hours on a Friday morning when your the 3rd or 4th group off that day is way too slow. Saw the ranger twice and he wasn’t speeding up the group in front. Nice course but I had to leave on 17.
Friendly
When my wife and I go to AC I always try to get tee times here. The people are very nice The course is challenging but also very lady friendly.
Very enjoyable.
