Harbor Pines Golf Club
About
The Harbor Pines Golf Club is a public facility that boasts an 18-hole, four-star golf course with subtle, breaking greens that provide a challenge for all golfers. The holes are very private and the fairways are wide and open.
The environment friendly course is a local favorite and is considered among women to be one of the best courses for women to play on. The beautiful natural landscape with seventeen acres of water and 520 acres of forestry has even been certified as an National Audubon Sanctuary. The relatively flat course does offer challenges for experienced golfers but it will not be too difficult for intermediate or beginning golfers. Both the 16th and 17th holes are difficult par-4's and the course has various hazards scattered throughout.

bad timing
Made t time and it rained the nite before, course was very wet, made for an uncomfortable day. Plus course had just been aeriated and fertilized! Other than that very nice layout and would play again
Despite the early part of the season it was a good play
Always good.
Played in cold and windy weather, course in good shape for Feb. Staff always great, good time even with the weather poor. Course pretty much empty, 3 hr. round very acceptable.
Check this out
I'm a big all year round golfer. But, even in the winter time this course is very well maintained.
Kevin is the head caddie. Hes a great guy, always knows people by name. Makes sure he thanks you for your business.
Love this course and the friendly service everyone in my group got.
65 degrees in feb
Good condition for winter, one temporary green on back 9. They are working on bunkers around green.
Everything was aerated a couple of weeks ago. Greens a little slow but still tricky.
Winter Conditions
Course has not been worked on over the winter and it shows. The greens are very bumpy and there are goose droppings everywhere. The price was great and we played in 3 hours but do not expect the same conditions you’d normally see here.
Great Atlantic City(Egg Harbor) course
My 3rd or 4th time playing Harbor Pine and can't wait to get back. Course was in great shape for late january. Was lucky enough to get the round for $13 with a golfnow hot deal and discount code. However, come the spring/summer, I would gladly spend top dollar to play here.
A Great Course and a Challenge
To start, it was 31 degrees and 18 mph winds. The course was in fantastic condition for this time of year. Staff was really helpful. Hard to accurately judge the pace of play because we were the only ones out there. Greens were in great condition. This course makes you really think about every shot you are about to take. Would recommend.
Great course
Course was in excellent shape, felt like a spring day weather wise. Will be back to play this course again
Not about condition
I am not posting this review based on the condition of the course. Because the condition has always been excellent. what I am posting is about that is the end of November and you are still charging almost $90 to play at this course. that is a far stretch from anywhere in the area and the course is in not that great of condition or playability to warrant that kind of cost. I have played other courses in the area which are in similar or better condition that are half the price especially for this time of year. It is one thing to fleece the Tourists that show up during the season, but it is another to take advantage of the players who like to enjoy the courses where they live. I realize that the market bears the cost of what you can charge. But you are going at the highest end of it. I do not want to say the name of the courses I have played that are better and in better condition that I have played, but one of them is near the exit of the Sea isle City exit on the parkway and that was almost half of your Greens fees. And it was a far superior course in far superior condition. I am not bashing your course, by any means. It an exceptional place. But you are overpriced for this time of year.
I play with a group of guys that are members at other local courses, some of us multiple courses. But, we do like to change things up from time to time and take advantage of the other places in the area.
You are THE highest priced, and not the highest quality.
Maybe something to address.
Harbor Pines at Christmas
Played Dec 29th weather was cold but playable. Course was in very good shape Greens fairways and Tees all good. Greens were playing slow due to sand top dressing but not that bad. pace of play was perfect as our 3 groups were the only crazy golfers playing in 30 degree weather.
This course is very fair and wide open. You need to hit it long off the tee to score and have to have a solid short game as most greens are protected by bunkers or some water.
pro Shop and clubhouse are typical of most upscale courses offering everything you could need.
This course is worth playing.
Great fall day
Waited for the frost to clear and headed out to play this gem.
Staff was busy trying to blow the leaves off fairways and around the greens. For this time of year course was in nice shape.
Got a great hot deal on a 50 degree November day.
Doesn’t get much better
Delay
Arrive at course prior to tee-time and was notified by the staff that there was a frost delaying causing a 90+ minute backup. They made no effort to speed things up and their staff including the pro shop were rude. GolfNow was excellent at offering a full refund.
