Harbor Pines Golf Club
About
The Harbor Pines Golf Club is a public facility that boasts an 18-hole, four-star golf course with subtle, breaking greens that provide a challenge for all golfers. The holes are very private and the fairways are wide and open.
The environment friendly course is a local favorite and is considered among women to be one of the best courses for women to play on. The beautiful natural landscape with seventeen acres of water and 520 acres of forestry has even been certified as an National Audubon Sanctuary. The relatively flat course does offer challenges for experienced golfers but it will not be too difficult for intermediate or beginning golfers. Both the 16th and 17th holes are difficult par-4's and the course has various hazards scattered throughout.

Airated greens
Would have not booked if i new greens were airated.
Good course slowish play
Course was in pretty good condition. They had just aerated recently so the greens were a little bumpy but that’s to be expected. The course layout was pretty good, can’t just spray the ball around and expect to shoot a good round, but like any other course fairways hit will benefit greatly. Only bad part was me and my group were waiting on almost every full shot. Other than that great course and I will be back when the greens are in good condition
Enjoyable round
While I have owned clubs for 20 years and played once or twice a year (until 1 year ago) I am clearly not more than a novice at best and a hacker at worst. 1 year ago, being retired, I began playing once or twice a week and took some additional lessons. So, with that being said, I find this course moderately challenging but forgiving enough for my skill level. The staff here has been wonderful and the course is in excellent condition, remarkably so after the wet year we had in 2018. So many other Jersey shore courses were really torn up with all the heavy continuous rain last year and some still haven't fully recovered. So, enjoy Harbor Pines - but don't tell too many people as I am enjoying the ease of getting a tee time and the relaxed pace of play!
On a winter day
Visiting the area and was pleasantly surprised at this gem of a course. Nice layout and was in great shape for this time of year.
Looking forward to revisit this course as it greens up.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend this course.
Winter Golf in January
Harbor Pines is always a great round! I enjoyed playing today with my friend Gerry and 2 others that we were pared with. Play was a bit slow and the course was a bit wet, to be expected with all the recent rain. We were happy to get a round in January! Looking forward to a great season in 2019.
Outsranding value for the course!
Greens were bumpy from not healing after aerstion. It was cart path only and extremely wet which was expected after all the rain in the area. It was still enjoyable, even with bad legs, however as the course layout was done well for cart path only play. Will definately return to play!!
Great day at course, weather was about 45° and sunny for most of day, course was in great condition for this time of year and considering all the rain that we've had. Putting was difficult due to aerification , but still had a good round of golf, staff was very pleasant and friendly, Golf Now hot deal for 19.00 w/chart was icing on cake!
Nice course, worth the trip.
Very well laid out course, nice people. I always enjoy playing Harbor Pines.
great course and good layout
not good conditions due to over 2" of rain the night before...lot of standing water..also the aeration done previously still is apparent on the greens with a lot of holes..ball bounces off track alot...
Be careful !
On November 2 took advantage of a hot deal haha. Arrived at the course checked in went to the starter only to find out that I was to follow an outing of approximately 60 +players. Since they were on the front nine I asked the starter can I start on the back nine absolutely no. When I was on the first tee the outing was still on the first green. So I played the first hole that’s when I found out that the greens were aerated no mention at all . You get the picture. On the second hole I was able to meet the Ranger/worker whose name is Jim. Jim immediately saw what was going on and was able to go check the course and find an opening (14th hole)what a great guy . Harbor Pines should be very happy that they have a worker as dedicated as Jim!!!!!
Fall Golf at Harbor Pines
We enjoyed a great round of golf on a beautiful fall day. Pace of play was slow as there was an outing but that did not dampen our enthusiasm for playing a wonderful course! The amenities and staff at Harbor Pines are great too!
Thanks GolfNow for the great deal!
Starter/bagman
Treated golf now people like second hand (trash). Had 25 minute gap and would not put us in,said golf now people can not go before tea time.
Fair Tough Course
Solid all around...not as nice as some of the other options in the area but certainly more affordable and in good condition.
Seaview Stay & Play Golf Package
Stop complaining, you probably paid 15$ for your tee time... you chose to book through golf now and take the hot rate.... that’s on you.....
