About
The Harbor Pines Golf Club is a public facility that boasts an 18-hole, four-star golf course with subtle, breaking greens that provide a challenge for all golfers. The holes are very private and the fairways are wide and open.
The environment friendly course is a local favorite and is considered among women to be one of the best courses for women to play on. The beautiful natural landscape with seventeen acres of water and 520 acres of forestry has even been certified as an National Audubon Sanctuary. The relatively flat course does offer challenges for experienced golfers but it will not be too difficult for intermediate or beginning golfers. Both the 16th and 17th holes are difficult par-4's and the course has various hazards scattered throughout.

haven't played the in years. was not in great shape. the bunkers had no sand at all in them. none
Pace of Play
Course conditions were good. Pace of play was ok, till they let their league tee off 20 mins early. Took 1.45 hrs to finish 3 holes. Bug are ridiculous out there, so bring spray. Overall course was in good shape, but I dont think its a $90 course.
Sandless traps
Everything about the course was great with the exception of the sand traps. Sand was very inconsistent.
Awful
Wrote a review earlier and not sure if it posted but I don’t see it. Sitting on 13 now writing another review. Do no play this course unless you have 7 hours to spare. Pace of play is embarrassing and no one out here to move it along. Tee’d off at 10:35 and here we are 3.5 hrs later sitting on 13 tee writing a golf advisor review. DO NOT PLAY HERE!
Good if you’re looking for a 6 hour round
This is the slowest round of golf I’ve ever played in my entire life. I’m on vacation and have nothing to do but I can’t sit and wait 10 mins to tee off on every hole. To put it in perspective, I’m writing this review on the 11th tee box while I wait. I set up an account realized, I already had one, then still have time to write this review before I tee off. There is no ranger on the course keeping pace of play even though there are signs emphasizing it everywhere. It’s just poor management in my opinion. Course itself would’ve had a better rating more than likely but pace of play is beyond unbearable. Good luck if ya play here but recommendation is don’t!
Overpriced and average
I wouldn’t complain if this couse was $50, but at $110, I expect a very nice course, especially considering the local competition. The condition was average at best, the greens looked recently aerated and every greens had 1/4 holes all over them. The layout was uninspired and tired. I can’t imaging I would ever come back.

Course was in great shape - friendly staff and pace of play was great.

Poor service
This was the first time to this recommended course. There were lots of sign warnings against slow play. But the marshals did not follow this posted instructions. It took us 2:45 to play 9 hole (yes that is 9 holes).
after playing this slow 9, I asked for a rain check for the remaining 9 on another non busy date and I was told ( with attitude) our course is never this slow and NO you can not get a rain check for the remaining 9.
I would never recommend this course. Stay away!

Very nice course. Nice layout. Nothing spectacular very playable for average golf. Better golfers only challenge would be length. Would recommend playing here staff was very friendly..
Short game a must
Fun course - greens fast , but fair. Plenty of trouble around the greens, difficult to get up and down
Great experience
I don't live in the area, so when I am, I make it a priority to play a round. Alawys an enjoyable time. Great layout and the coures was in great shape. Staff is very accommodating. One of the best courses in the area.
