Bedford Trails Golf Course is situated just east of Youngstown in Coitsville. The course is one of northeastern Ohio's hidden gems. The modest 6,340-yard layout is seemingly easy but don't underestimate the punch that this course packs. What it may lack in length, the course certainly makes up for with other challenges. You accuracy will be tested with the tight fairways lined with mature trees. Even seasoned players will want to have extra balls handy. Though they are relatively flat, the small size of the greens is what will be the tricky part. Pin placement is the key. Bedford Trails Golf Course isn't exceedingly difficult, but you'll want to strategize each hole carefully. It's a challenging but fun round with affordable green fees that any skill level can appreciate.

Fine course
Course was in super shape. Weather was superior. The greens were true and fast. It was a wonderful round on a fine course.
Where are you?
My wife and I drove up from Pittsburgh last minute, prompted by your fantastic bargain on GolfNow ($10 for 18 w/ cart). Got there 20 minutes before our tee time but could not find anyone, and I mean anyone from the facility. The restaurant/bar/pro shop are all in the same big room and I stood there for literally 10 minutes holding my receipt and NO ONE was there! Finally, with daylight evaporating, I simply loaded our sticks on an idle cart and set off. Never saw a marshall, starter, anyone. I've been golfing for 35 years and that's a first.
Fun course
Other than being behind an outing that made play slow,this course has a nice layout & played firm and fast , made some shots hard to judge.
Very Friendly Staff. Course enjoyable to play.
Played on a Saturday afternoon. Staff ask my friend and I if we wanted to we could play the back nine first. They knew what they were doing. We never waited or were pushed the whole round. Nice to deal with a course that has the golfer in mind.
Course was in very good condition. Greens were fast and fairways in great shape. This course has some easy holes and some hard holes. Many tree lined fairways. The first hole needs a little more character. Other than that I'd rate this course as a definite play. Nice course for a great price!
A Hidden Gem!
Never heard of this course before. Found a great deal on GolfNow so took a chance. ABSOLUTELY LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS GOLF COURSE!!! Every hole is picturesque! Accuracy is a premium as almost every hole is tree lined on both sides and the rough is high. Small greens but they hold shots well and putt smooth and somewhat fast! Many "signature" holes on this course! Can't wait to go back!
Great staff and a challenging course
Considering our weather condions as of late, the course is in good shape and they are blowing the leaves off fairways and greens. We've had rain the past few days, so there are areas of the course that are wet. I've played there on Thurs Oct 24th and Fri the 25th. I'll be going back !
Fun Little Course
This is a nice little hidden course just east of Youngstown. It is well maintained. Though this course plays a little short, it will test your accuracy and shot making with it's tight, tree-lined fairways. Bring an extra sleeve of balls!
cheap course to play on labor day, nice greens, fairways patchy,not a difficult layout.
course has gotten rain from 3 weeks ago so not as much roll on fairways, very inexpensive, course gets a lot of play, playing as a foursome still wait on many holes, it would be painful to play as a twosome.

Course is suitable for most of the golfers. Challenging but not exceedingly.
This is a nice user friendly course
I had played Bedford Trails once several years ago and remembered the staff as being very friendly. The course is level and not difficult, but the greens are small and tricky. My foursome intended to eat at their restaurant, but being a Sunday, they were closing at 5:00. which was about the time we completed our round.
this is the best great fun loving staff the owner is a good person and the staff on the course are great the course is the best we played in a long time.
