Bedford Trails Golf Course is situated just east of Youngstown in Coitsville. The course is one of northeastern Ohio's hidden gems. The modest 6,340-yard layout is seemingly easy but don't underestimate the punch that this course packs. What it may lack in length, the course certainly makes up for with other challenges. You accuracy will be tested with the tight fairways lined with mature trees. Even seasoned players will want to have extra balls handy. Though they are relatively flat, the small size of the greens is what will be the tricky part. Pin placement is the key. Bedford Trails Golf Course isn't exceedingly difficult, but you'll want to strategize each hole carefully. It's a challenging but fun round with affordable green fees that any skill level can appreciate.

Below average for decent price
First time playing this course. Greens were in rough shape in some spots, as were the fairways. There were times I couldn’t differentiate between the fairway and the rough. I understand it’s been dry, but the course clearly isn’t maintained outside of Mother Nature. Very tight in some spots with a lot of doglegs. Carts are average. Restaurant on site looks good and was packed for breakfast. Beer at the turn was a smidge pricy ($28 for 12 Michelob Ultras). Would rather go down the road a few more minutes and play Knoll Run for a few more bucks.
Management has an attitude
I would never recommend playing this course, even if it's free. The older starter was very rude and bothersome.. Hole after hole is nearly the same with mostly no traps,, greens with little definition & some with dead grass. Pace was quite slow. Some golfers dressed like they were ready to mow the lawn - sleeveless tee shirts were not uncommon. Don't waste time or money on this place definitely not worth it.

Too many twosomes
Pace of play was slow because of the twosomes playing through after today I will never let anyone play through again. No ranger out there to push the pace along. Super nice course! Cannot beat it for the price to golf there

Great course. Unfortunately it’s over ran by senior citizens that play like turtles crossing the road. Not to mention they have no regard for the faster players playing behind them.

Nice course. Tight fairways, lot's of trees. I will play it again. Was fun.

Enjoyed the course and the restaurant facilities. Staff very cordial and nice plus the owners are great people. Love this venue!

Course needs more care
Ok, I'm not one to write bad reviews on golf courses, as I play often. Now, I've played about seven courses in Ohio to this date in April, 2020(late April). EVERY course that I played so far has been manicured, even with all the rain that we have received. I'm talking about cut fairways and last year's leaves being removed from several fairways. On several holes, I spent a couple minutes trying to locate my ball in the fairway, because they haven't been cut yet. I observed two workers cutting the tee boxes with a push bag LAWN MOWER, and the tee boxes were still four inches long after they were done. I mean...common man !!! I will give some credit to the greens as they were in good shape and putted true. Overall opinion, glad it was only twenty bucks. Maybe it's different in the summer time, but I won't be coming back again.

Corona Golf
Being from Pa. we traveled 75 miles to play on ANY type of ground! It has a lot of potential! The Back 9 is tight and lots of trees and woods. The Greens were a 8 out of 10 for conditions and putted True! With some TLC it is pretty darn good for the price! By no means it at a Championship layout but you can have a lot of fun there!

they keep the coarse in great shape considering its winter and they don't close the coarse. I know this time of the year I get the itch to play, they are my only option, keep it up!
Aerated greens
Fairways were a bit thin. The greens were recently aerated and sanded so they played horribly. I feel like a warning should have been made and maybe not charged full price. Other than than, it wasn’t bad for a chilly Sunday morning

Always a good golf experience at Bedford trails. They make you feel welcome no matter how busy they are. Julie and staff are exceptional!!
Great day
The staff is one of the most friendly places you will ever go. There was 2 scrambles going off that day. One in the morning 1 in the afternoon we golfed in between them and everything went very smooth. Greens were in great shape fairways pretty good for the summer we had. Great day with friends.
