Bedford Trails Golf Course is situated just east of Youngstown in Coitsville. The course is one of northeastern Ohio's hidden gems. The modest 6,340-yard layout is seemingly easy but don't underestimate the punch that this course packs. What it may lack in length, the course certainly makes up for with other challenges. You accuracy will be tested with the tight fairways lined with mature trees. Even seasoned players will want to have extra balls handy. Though they are relatively flat, the small size of the greens is what will be the tricky part. Pin placement is the key. Bedford Trails Golf Course isn't exceedingly difficult, but you'll want to strategize each hole carefully. It's a challenging but fun round with affordable green fees that any skill level can appreciate.

Horrible Tee Boxes
Greens were best part of the course other than that I will probably never play there again. Starter was very rude.
After the amount of money we spent there for 3 of us to play there for first time and the way the starter spoke to us I don't think we will be back unless we were given something to accommodate.

Grass was up to the cart
Never seen grass so long on a golf course. And there was a lot of ground under repair. Tee boxes were also in bad shape.

Not worth it
Just pay another $10-$20 and go play a course that is actually worthwhile. Not worth it. Not even a little. I've been here before and think it'll change. It never does. Kind of sad. They do have a great kitchen nevertheless

Awful
Standing stagnant water everywhere.
Poor conditions everywhere.
Filthy mud stained carts.
A complete joke.

Trails through the woods
Course is set in a township. Fairly rural. Most holes are tree lined with dog legs. Water hazards are a big part of several holes where trees may be absent. Carts are newer with USB chargers.

Very friendly staff, easy to get a tee time and good food and service in the restaurant.
Nice country golf course near Hubbard Ohio.
Not crowded this time of year. Tee blocks, fairways and greens all I good shape. Nice round of golf on a beautiful day.

Greens need some work- rough spots on almost every green. Friendly staff as always.

Course was extremely wet due to recent heavy rains, not a good playing experience. Had I known course Conditions in advance would not have played.
Not worth the money
Fairways looked like rough even the greens had large spots missing. Golf cart didn't make it past the 3rd hole. Roots and rocks all over the place. Better of trying to play your ball off the cart path

This course is a bargain compared to other courses in the area
I have golfed many courses in the area and Bedford Trails by far has the best bang for your buck when it comes to being a quality course without breaking the bank.
Great Conditions, Great Value
Bedford Trails is a hidden gem in the Youngstown, OH area. The course is always in good condition, the greens are quick, the fairways and rough cut and layered appropriately. The tee boxes need and are getting work. There are an abundance of LARGE trees on 2/3 of the holes....you better have a low-punch game. Some of the greens are large and flattish...others are small and very sloped.....STAY BELOW THE FLAG! It has a nice mix of lengths, dog-right and dog-left, and only two par-5's, each stretching over 500 yards. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly and will do anything to help you out. Prices are fantastic, and they run golf & breakfast (or lunch) specials. The pace of play is always good and the marshall is fair and friendly. It is VERY MUCH worth the effort to find it and play it.

Not good
Maintainer man made us wait while he mowed green.. pace of play horrid even though minimal people there. Horrid greens and fairways. Unfriendly and u knowledgeable staff.
