About
Brookledge Golf Club sprawls across more than 120 acres of gently rolling hills and mature woodlands. The course is an Arthur Hills design and considered one of the finest public golf courses in northeast Ohio. Originally opened in 1988, the course later underwent a major renovation that included the installation of a new aeration system and the replacement of all the sand traps. The golf course is challenging with trees lining the fairways and framing the greens, leaving little room for error off the tees or on the approaches. The greens are subtly elevated and well protected by mounding and bunkers. Brookledge Golf Club's tricky putting surfaces have mild undulations that can cause subtle breaks in putts. Trees play a more prominent role on the back nine, especially on the closing holes.

Impeccable
Brookledge is one of the nicest courses in the area and is a great value for the hot deal that we got. Even though we were late to our tee time because of an old lady driving in front of us, the staff were very understanding and we were able to get out without a hitch. When we got onto the course, it was in amazing shape, especially for the lack of rain that the area had experienced. The fairways were lush and green and rolling and the greens rolled true and were a perfect speed. This course is an absolute treat. Anyone who writes a negative review on this course has no idea what they’re talking about and are just plain wrong.

Amazing course... holiday hackers
Spectacular course. Lightening quick greens that ran true, gorgeous fairways, and great tee boxes. I can’t say enough about what a joy this course was. Lady in the clubhouse and the starter couldn’t have been more gracious. First class experience!
My only complaint was pace of play due to July 4th weekend “holiday hackers.” After fifth hole we ground to a halt and twice had groups hit into us (two different ones) from behind, one time hitting over our heads and then 100 yards past us off the tee. No ranger in sight though. I won’t let this ruin my experience- this course is a MUST PLAY!!!

Absolutely a top 5 public course in the state of ohio! Brookledge is fantastic from staff to course conditions and layout you cannot go wrong weather paying full price or catching it on a hot deal you wont be disappointed! 5 star course for sure!

The greens are great, whole course is well watered.
The front nine was good pace, the course let out a league on the back and the pace slowed down dramatically.

Slow play
Booked an early tee time. Played the front 9 in an hour and a half. When we made the turn it was backed up as far as we could see. It took almost 3 hours for the back 9. They were booking front and back 9's with no reguard for the golfers making the turn. Will not be returning here.

Receptive Greens
Course is always in great shape. Beautiful layout. The greens always roll true and today they were the receptive I've seen them. Not as fast as they usually are. A couple tee boxes needed a little attention but otherwise the course was superb.

Best public course in NEO!
I have been playing at Brookledge for as long as I can remember. Everything about this course makes you want to come back time and time again. Absolutely pure course. Great for all skill levels.

Over booked
A nice course in good condition. I have a hunch that because of covid 19 Brookledge has had a slow start to the year. They delayed t times by 30 minutes and had the course so full that it took over 3 hours to play 9 holes. Had a 10:52 t time and figured it would be about 6pm before we finished. Stopped playing after 9 holes even though we paid for 18. Put a sour note on a otherwise Happy Father's Day.

Carts were clean and Sanitized. We started at 9:10 , didn’t finish until 1:30. Play was slow, but the course was in excellent shape. Greens are lightning fast . I will definitely book another round at this course and will highly recommend it

A great Sunday...
Heard good things and decided to give it a try - especially because of the great Sunday rate I found as a single. Got paired with an awesome twosome that didn't mind oat all me playing the back tees.
Course is in great condition, well manicured and the greens were perfect and rolled true. You may look at the the yardage and think this course is short but not matter what tees you play you'll hit every club in the bag. I highly recommend this course.
